Yes they must submit to the continued steamrolling tyranny of the feds!

This is still FR, right?

This stopped being FR months ago.

I believe that the FBI “cracked” the dead terrorists’ iPhones just as much as I believe that Obama killed bin Laden. This is propaganda being put out there to sway opinion.

Apple did the right thing, and I will support them and any other company or individual who stands up to tyranny from within that we now live with.

No, the Feds should have limits of reach; however, Apple played their hand wrong.

It isn't "tyranny" when the government gets a search warrant. That is called "rule of law", and we need it.

This is still FR, right?

Hard to tell anymore with all the paranoid chicken little's running around nowadays. I should add "Gullible" Chicken Littles, because anyone who bothered to read what the FBI was asking for would have realized Apple simply started a great big ole lie-fest.

Apple lied about everything. It's really funny to me that Apple, by their deliberate lying, CAUSED the very thing they claimed to be afraid of.

They were "hoist by their own petard."

I'm not sure. The panty-waists are celebrating that big brother is winning. However, I have no problem with the FBI exercising and searching an iPhone on their own. . . if they can, through their own ingenuity, hack into it, fine. My problem was their demand that Apple be forced to undermine their own product.

Federal Law also requires that the FBI must inform Apple of the vulnerability they are using so that Apple may close the vulnerability. I wonder if they will follow Federal Law or will they ignore it? My thought is this administration and its lackeys, being lawless, will ignore it. What do you think?
