Two recent polls from Wisconsin highlight the bizarre world of information contrast. ◾One poll of 6,000 from Optimus Research; ◾And another poll of 471 from Marquette University Law School.
Take all of this poll data with a grain of salt. Instead look at the visible activity you can rely upon. The crowds, or the raw data which has not reached a filter.
Last Night Between 8 and 9 p.m., when Cruz answered questions from Anderson Cooper and GOP voters in Wisconsin, CNN averaged 2.78 million viewers, 853,000 of whom were in the demo. Between 9 and 10 p.m., when it was Trumps turn, CNN averaged 4.04 million viewers, with 1.33 million in the demo.
Thats 45.32% more people who tuned in to watch Donald Trump than watched Ted Cruz on the same show.
Kasich was on last, between 10 and 11 p.m. During that hour, CNN averaged 2.97 million viewers, with 999,000 in the demo.
CNNs closest competitor during the evening, Fox News, also saw a boost when Trump appeared on Sean Hannitys 10 p.m. show. Hannitys program with Trump averaged 466,000 in the demo, almost half as many as watched Kasich on CNN. (link)

Winning elections is all about voter enthusiasm and how energized the population is to get to actually show up and vote.
Brussels had a really bad week
Who do you think will win it all? I've got to go with N C.
I agree, he should go 3rd party (and me with him)
The Walker endorsement will hurt more than help.
Walker has approval ratings lower than Obama in Wisconsin. Check the latest polls.
Also, the polls that have Cruz ahead only seem to include registered republicans. The poll that includes everyone (WI gas an open primary) Trump is ahead and Cruz is third.
Ronald Reagan says HELLLO! Remember Reagan democrats??
Trumps not going to win Wisconsin. To many negative forces have conspired against him.
Vote Trump.
Not with a "margin of error of 5.8%".
For those who bothered to actually read the internals, the takeaway is Undecided and thus Cheeseeaters are in play. A good thing.
No matter how much you wish or who you vote for, Roe v. Wade will remain untouched for decades and decades more and may never be revisited again.
This election will destroy the Conservative RINOS and it’s by your own hand this will happen.
>>He is clueless about what it means to be pro life.
What did he say that showed this cluelessness?
At 69 years old Trump will not want to go down the rabbit hole of a 3rd party loss. He loses the nomination it is on to some other adventure. Take the airplane and the trophy wife somewhere for some quality down time. The Trumpsters will have to do their own party.
Great post!
And apparently Kasich got more viewers and interest than Cruz. Which is just wrong!
Interesting stats in the article and the first post.
I keep smelling Romney astro-turf. FRegards ....
Half the country was still in the evening commute during Cruz’s portion of the program.
I would not put much stock in ratings comparisons unless it was head to head.
Bookmark.. Great post
I read thru 100s of posts on FR. Some make me laugh. Some I want to toss the laptop out a window. But on occasion, I read a nugget like this that makes it all worth while.
He said women who have an abortion must face a legal. Penalty
He also said planned parenthood is a good organization
Those people are more loyal to this country than anti Constitutional scholar Lying Ted Bush the Goldman Sachs and establishment sellout.
