Statements such as this will force those who say they are pro-life to either put up or shut up. Of course, if abortion is illegal and a woman gets an abortion, she should be charged with murder.

She would certainly be charged with facilitation at least. The abortionist is the actual murderer she is simply complicit as an active participant.

That doesn’t follow. All or most abortions were illegal in all 50 states pre Roe vs Wade —— yes, even in states that had liberalized their abortion laws like CA and NY -— and no aborting mothers were ever prosecuted. Only the guy with the cash in one hand, and a sharp instrument in the other.

No woman was ever charged with murder. The abortion laws were enforced by shutting down abortionists.

Nice try. You are repeating an old line of the abortionists; pretending that pro-lfers can’t be sincere if they don’t insist on Murder One.

Before 1973 abortion was outlawed in this country in many states and it was against the law to kill your baby, for the woman and doctor. Congratulations to Donald Trump for sticking up for the unborn. Democrats hate to hear the truth. RINOs hate to hear the truth and democrat Kasich has already weighed in and said it was crazy to say women should be punished for killing their children. Should be interesting to see lying Ted Cruz and how he weighs in on this. “Pro-life” Cruz will certainly find some way for bashing Trump for standing up for common sense on abortion and wanting women and doctors to be charged if abortion is ever made illegal again. I would suspect “pro-life” Cruz will say something like “Once again Donald is lying and yes he’s wrong. Abortion is wrong, but you certainly can’t punish women for having one, they need to be treated with dignity, and my God tells me to forgive those that I disgree with”. He’ll then go on to say “But let me remind you Donald Trump is a liar, he’s all for funding PP and has been all his life and Margaret Sanger is a great hero of his, and before you go and vote just remember what I said, Donald Trump is a liar. And just so you don’t forget Donald Trump is a liar.”

What responsibility/penalties should the men get if they refuse to support the woman they get pregnant so they feel abortion is their only recourse? Also, what penalties should the people get who deny health care to women and children or who defund WIC programs? So as not to be hypocrites, would you PERSONALLY prefer to permit safe legal abortions, or have your tax money used to subsidize the rearing of the poor children who are not aborted so they do not end up as addicts and criminals who also cost you money. Unfortunately, the same people who oppose abortion also oppose doing anything to prevent the children born from growing up in the worst circumstances.

the pro life movement “hides” behind convicting “doctors”....why would it not be logical for the person requesting the illegal activity, participating in it and whoever pays for itbe considered in violation of the law.

This is how the law works...except somehow in this case we just ignore it.

having said this, it is a very difficult position, even if in concurrence with other “laws”, to have the woman punished...we are assuming she is a “victim”.

We punish drug addicts why not women who kill their babies even though we provide billions in services to help those who can’t afford their children? I personally think its better to focus on the abortion providers which is how Trump revised his statement. I am interested in how quickly those who claimed he wasn’t prolife were there to condemn him for wanting some punishment of women who is committing what is undeniably murder of her unborn or rather hiring someone to murder her unborn. Trump isn’t wrong for expecting punishment for such a person. Also the women is not the only party involved but the father. Men who want these babies should have recourse just as they would if their girlfriend murdered their infant. The problem is many pro lifers don’t want to talk about life as if it REALLY means anything. They continue to allow the left to own this issue as if the woman is bearing the cost not the dead babies who have their lives stolen from them.

He was set up—it was a liberal trap. He never should have honestly answered that question. These “women’s Issues’ Were designed to trip him up.
