And boys and girl, Trump is a dead man if it gets to the second ballot. He has tried his best to insult everyone and it will come home to roost for him. Cruz has been working hard to get those delegates on the second ballot. Ted Cruz is going to be the nominee of the Republican Party!
Yes. Cruz has always been a long-shot in this race. But his strategy has been on-point and effective. He has actively courted his opponents and has been universally classy and polite to them--even Trump before Donald went nuclear on him. I think that will pay big dividends at the convention.
It will be ugly, but nothing could be uglier than Trump losing to Hillary by 15-20%--which is where we're headed with him as the nominee.
