Is Trump you only hope?

If the GOP nominated Jeff Sessions or Jim DeMint at the convention would you consider voting for them?

For the third time today:

Marquette is a liberal cesspool of all that is mindless, heretical, and destructive to sane morality. I’m a Cruz supporter, but I wouldn’t use a poll (or anything else) from Marquette for anything but bird cage liner... and I think I’d spray it with Lysol, first (and probably sprinkle it with holy water)...

A solid Cruz win in Wisconsin would significantly change the course of the race. It will greatly diminish the chances of Trump getting the 1,237 delegates on the first ballot. It will still be possible if Trump wins solidly afterwards but there will be very little margin for error.

Also, we will have two weeks between WI and NY and the news media will be in overdrive, telling us that Trump is no longer a sure bet to be nominee. Cruz and the stop-Trump movement will have two glorious weeks to rub it in and continue to spread FUD.

Also, a NY win two weeks later will be underplayed as this is Trump's home state and he's expected to win there anyhow.

In other words, Trump losing WI by a solid margin is potentially catastrophic for his campaign. I say this as a Trump supporter. Regardless of the accuracy of this poll, Trump needs to act like he's 10 points behind and go all-out to win or at least keep it very close.

I said much the same about Ohio a couple weeks ago and people thought I was being alarmist. But Ohio was a huge opportunity lost for Trump. A win there would have finished Kasich and put him 66 more delegates ahead of Cruz (which would have made Wisconsin expendable).

Instead, Kasich got the ticker tape parade treatment and Trump's inevitability took a severe hit. He simply cannot afford to lose Wisconsin big.

Don’t worry. If Cruz grabs the nomination those will be playing non stop. But it’s more likely that the cheating stories are going to take him down first.

If that happens, then he’ll be blamed for the blow out loss that’s coming.

Do your polls against Hillary say what happens in the event that Cruz becomes the nominee at a contested convention?

Leaving judgments aside, you think the voters Trump has resurrected will just go along with Cruz or anyone else as the nominee?

Again, leave judgments aside and tell me how you think this plays out because no poll can predict what happens after a contested or brokered convention. Cruz or any other candidate will get ruined.

Trump has 3 times as many votes as Cruz

<><><><

LOL.

Just yesterday another Trump supporter made the exact same claim.

Because he had apparently taken a post as gospel without checking. Is that your excuse as well?

You let me know how 7.8 million is 3 times 5.7 million.

Go Ted!

I think Wisconsin will be a tell tale. If Trump wins he’s the nominee. If Cruz wins he will win at a contested convention.

Open! So if Cruz wins it very meaningful to him. Probably indicates the tide has turned in his favor.

Cruz has unfortunately really raised his negatives in the last week. He just does not seem right, something is off with him.

If trump does not have the magic 1237, then the republican are better off nominating someone like Walker. Cruz is at this point damaged goods

Nah, Walker has that weird eye that makes him look like he’s not smart. And he’s really out of his league dealing with the national press.

Approximately two million vote difference is NOT a rounding error, but hey you are smitten with that sanctimonious twit who uses the the words “copulating” and “rats” in the same sentence.

The Marquette poll is absurd. First it is allowed all registered voters to vote !! look at it!https://law.marquette.edu/poll/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/MLSP34Toplines.pdf . I don’t want a pool that allows DEMOCRATS TO TELL ANYTHING!@! What in the Hell is this junk doing in the media? THis POC asks the approval of Obam and the answer in 5!% “FAVORABLE!! Get these people OUT of our polls!!
Why is the media not covering the the Wisconsin Optimus poll? This poll has less than 2% margin of error and polls REPUBLICANS!!! https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwpQSOvk_aoAMDQ1TmJUeW13OTQ/
It show Trump leading!! In fact it shows Scruz in third!!

I wonder why there are so few Wisconsin polls. Usually, with one week before an election, there are usually 5 of 6 polls from various firms... Particularly since there is only ne state voting, and an old traditional primary state...

Trump has unfortunately really raised his negatives in the last week. The Wisconsin primary appears to be a reflection of how badly the Cruz tabloid smear has backfired.

Too bad he didn't stick to the issues and allowed folks to vote on principles.
