"Heidi, Heidi, Heidi, Ho What does that even mean? Is that the level of discourse on FR these days? Good gravy."
Duh! The 'Heidi ho" is a direct quote from the Cab Calloway song "Minny the Moocher"

Hate to break it to you, but if we wind up with a contested convention, I’d put odds on you will see Jeb or someone like that as the nominee. Historically when you end up with a contested convention, none of the main candidates wind up with the nomination, because there is too much infighting between the backers for either to get a majority... so you wind up with a dark horse not a major player as the eventual nominee.
The contested convention path will almost certainly wind up with someone who never got much if any popular vote at all will wind up the nominee.

Weve been trying to tell you Trump people, ABSOLUTELY NO ONE likes Trump but the core Trump people. I can see absolutely no one who supported Rubio moving over in the Trump camp. You have a ceiling of support that you cant break out of. No other front runner has been this long without cracking 50% in a primary.

And we’ve been chuckling every time we see these comments.
Trump has 3 times as many votes as Cruz, so whats that say about Cruz’s or any other candidates, likability.
And we’ve never seen the party work harder at defeating,(by a large margin) the peoples choice.
Insanitiy or insidious. Which?

Again, I get the reference. But are we really stooping to mocking candidates’ wives with Cab Calloway lyrics? It’s weak.

But hes made it this far, so I tend to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Every one of these candidates, who are after all, mere men, make us scratch our heads from time to time. The worst that Lewandoski might have done was not worthy of a charge or a dismissal (just as Cruz did not dismiss the fellow who was aggressive with the CNN rumors on Dr. Carson, and Cruz paid the price). Cruz may think this is a dismissal charge, or he may be influenced during a long hard campaign to want to get a distinction and an edge.
All in all, I think he'd be a great president. Though I prefer Cruz, I like Trump's get tough stance with Red China, and I do believe he loves America. After all these years (whether you want to say 8 or 28, it matters little) of a globalist attitude, unabashed nationalism can be refreshing. I want a smaller government just as much, and that is where I think Cruz is more likely to deliver. (Trump, to his credit, doesn't claim that is his string suit.)

Trump needs to neutron bomb Ted Cruzs campaign.
His surrogates have been trying--to not much effect so far. I have to say I've been impressed by how Cruz has navigated this tabloid garbage so far.

Not my poll. It’s someone else’s poll. Obviously it doesn’t fit your view of the world. So it’s a bad poll.

My favorite part is where Hillary and Ted are tied in Wisconsin. The Cruz train is gaining steam. Look for Cruz to pull some of Kasichs supporters.

Trump had nothing to do with the Cruz NE story. That was being pushed by the Rubio Camp.

Were Independents polled here?
According to 538, Trump only needs 18 of the 42 delegates to stay on target and it’s the delegates that actually matter, right GOPe? He’s spending the entire week in WI so expecting good results next Tuesday. Walker and Ryan don’t appear to be so popular in WI as the GOP thinks. Guess we shall find out soon.

Ted currenly has that title, 3rd in Ohio, Florida, and South Carolina, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, and Virginia.
Of course you could call him Mr. 4th place with Vermont and Massachusetts.
Reminds me of the old Miller Lite commercial with Ray Johnson
Instead Cruz would say "You can call me 3rd" or "You can call me 4th" or "You can call me 2nd runner up" or "You can call me 3rd runner up", but you doesn't have to call me truthful.

Yes I have, the RCP avg of polls of any vs. Hillary or Sanders show all gop candidates loosing, but Trump is the bigger LOOSER!
GO TED!
TED will win almost all WI delegates, at least 80% and he will continue to swamp Trump after Kasich drops out.

Do you Cruz supporters realize that his only chance is a brokered convention?
- I'm Never GOPe.
- I'm a Cruz supporter.
- Trump is a natural staist liberal demagogue.
- There are many conservatives that could replace Cruz.
- We are SEVERLY divided right now. I see Cruz as an viable deserving option not as our only hope.
- I'm not afraid of a brokered convention. If the GOP screws it up it can't get worse an and may give birth to a new party.
- If enough people are OnlyTrump it may already be over this time anyway.

If Cruz wins Wisconsin that means the GOPe wins. We all know what that means.

No, it means Cruz wins. If the GOPe is forced to line up under Cruz's banner--which they desperately do not want to do--WE WIN.
That is the goal we're aiming for -- a Conservative in charge of the GOP.
