If he knows he is guilty, copping a plea is probably the best way to go - provided he doesn't have a previous conviction.
From earlier comments by others, I was thinking he would plead innocent and call Trump to the stand as a character witness. That was the talk that caught my attention and did not seem credible.
Putting Trump on the stand - and allowing him to be cross-examined - doesn't make sense. Too risky knowing Trump's past and his volatile temperament.
It is a misdemeanor, it is not even a low level felony, in New Jersey, this crap would be done in “traffic court” at the municipal level. Pay the $100 fine and court costs and move on.
