I don’t think the NE ever came out and said if the claims were true or not. All the NE did was write stuff like “...there are reports that Cruz may have had several affairs...”

It’s not like it was an investigative report. More like Harriet and Gertrude talking about the gossip they overheard on the party line.

Exactly- and the courts have ruled that as dispicable as they are, slime rags liek NE have the right to do that IF they do not represent it as fact
Yep, any way we look at it, there’s no case. Yet other Repub politicians are calling for Cruz to sue. Surely they know there’s no case, so maybe they want to make Cruz look as if he’s lying?
