Both American major parties need to be sent to the ash-heap of history. Most of the problems plaguing, and sinking, this nation are the result of the two parties taking control of our system of governance. They need to be destroyed.

I agree entirely. I think it’s going to get worse, much worse, before people wake to that.

No use saying “both” when they clearly are one.

Most of the problems plaguing, and sinking, this nation are the result of the two parties taking control of our system of governance.

That's true, yet it is a symptom rather than the source of our misery. Few men are willing to risk their jobs for a higher cause. Keeping one's job is job #1.

When the Framers' senate worked for the states, it was much easier to keep one's finger on the pulse of a couple hundred state legislators than to anticipate the future mood of the people and media when it was time for reelection.

With popularly derived senators, the fact that EVERY rat nominee to scotus is anti - 9th & 10th Amendment becomes irrelevant.

Once the pubbies start hearings, the game is over. They will buckle, and what was once the freest people on earth will be ruled by a 6-3 or 5-4 majority of Godless oligarchs.
