I think he knows the other shoe is about to drop. The National Enquirer is not finished yet. I don’t think they have eyewitness proof, but there’s more to come and Ted knows it. He’s hedging.

Watched the interview, have to agree with you.

He's desperately trying not to paint himself into a corner when the other shoe drops.

Typical "Way of the weasel" lawyer at work leaving himself a possible out.

They may not be even sure how much info the NE has.

He definitely deflected what should have been a simple question to answer directly.

Has to be a reason, he's not stupid.

I have to point out that IF LusTED blinked five different women other than his wife of 14 years and then ran for president with the slogan ‘TrusTED’ and touted himself as the gold standard of Christian values while believing that those indiscretions would never become public, then I would have to conclude, if true, that he is not very smart, and would border on ineptly stupid. Shades Gary Heart and John Edwards.
