An Impassioned Cruz Fires Back at Obama: He’s ‘More Mad at Me’ than at ISIS
National Review ^ | March 27th 2016 | Tom S. Elliott

“You know, it’s rich seeing Obama attacking me when he just got back from going to a baseball game with the Castros, celebrating and toasting a communist dictator who tortures and murders his citizens, who oppresses them and who is rabidly anti-American and who spreads terrorism throughout Latin America,” Cruz said in an appearance on Fox News Sunday. “As the president noted, yes, my father was in prison and tortured in Cuba. So was my aunt. She was imprisoned and tortured by Castro’s goons in Cuba.”

“And yet, what President Obama has done, what Hillary Clinton has done, what John Kerry has done is sent billions of dollars to the enemies of America, billions of dollars to the Castros, that they will use to increase repression, increase spreading terrorism throughout Latin America, and over $100 billion to the Ayatollah Khamenei in Iran,” he continued. ”That money will be used to fund Islamic terrorists that are coming to murder Americans, murder Europeans, to murder Israelis. And it will be used to fund their nuclear program and their ICBM program, which is designed to murder millions of Americans.”

This is kabuki.

Why is Bratton, third rate lil’ Katy Tyr & Obama now attacking Cruz.

Because they don’t want Trump to get to 1,237

Somebody thinks that trying to act tough on Obama will help Cruz beat Trump in the primaries...

I think others see through this also.

I don’t trust Cruz. I think he is an opportunist and thought that playing a conservative will get him the Republican nomination and subsequently the White House. He is also too deluded to realize that the GOPe is only using him as a tool to try to stop Trump — they have no intensionto let him get anywhere.

Given all this, I don’t think he is presidential material.

He sounds just like Obama.

NR, playing Cruz like a fish, they’re just using him to deny Trump 1237 delegates. If he fails to do that, they’ll drop him like a hot potato. If he succeeds, they and the establishment will pat him on the head, and promise to help fund his re-election campaign in 2018, nothing more. Then when 2018 rolls around they’ll renege on that promise and back a more reliable Stealth Bush.

“Yes Ted, it’s all about YOU.

That is exactly my thought in reading the post. He sure is self centered.

Rant?

Trumpers seem to've lost all ability of rational thinking...

Trump can froth at the mouth, make outrageous accusations, lie thru' his teeth, be rude and crude - especially about women - and display deep narcissistic symptoms - and NOTHING is amiss.

If Cruz just says his same - he's evil.

Kabuki indeed. Nothing Cruz says has any passion. It’s all coming off the teleprompter in his head and recited as practiced in the mirror.

Ted Cruz has great memorization skills, but is really lousy at pretending to care.

You hate cruz sooooo much more than you have Isis. Nothing written about Cruz can pass you hate-cruz eyes that escapes your ability to trash Cruz.

You say Cruz is “playing a conservative “...

Yep - since he was a teenager. He’s been keeping up the charade for a long time,eh..........

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Cruz

Or are you just continuing to spout this line, hoping no one will be the wiser?

Here’s what Cruz has been doing for last 40 years - and is still doing the same.

Trump is now condemning others using the practices he’s been using for 40 years.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvSMEZxVTHg

Ahhh - and about his ripping on China -

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZJmolgTuOM

When pinned, Trumps sputters “It’s legal. It’s all legal”

NOT the point, Donald. ‘RANTING” against others that use the unethical loopholes while you have been using them yourself - is the height of dis-ingenuousness.

Not to mention the scams - now in court

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LNTK6RYleDM

to mention a few of the ‘conservative’ actions of Trump

I saw this video clip live, on one of the Sunday news shows, and I thought it was quite powerful. Sure, he's running for President, but he still was telling the truth, and telling it from a very personal perspective. And he was right in condemning Obama for this whole Havana overture, which no one else has done in as full throated a manner.

I understand supporting Trump is really a passionate thing, but hopefully I'm not the only person who still is trying to give people credit when they do good, regardless of who I'm supporting in the GOP Nomination contest.
