Gov. Nathan Deal on Monday vetoed the controversial Religious Freedom bill, saying it "contains language that causes me concern." “I do not think we have to discriminate against anyone to protect the faith-based community in Georgia of which I and my family have been part of all of our lives,” Deal said.

Yep, another GOP betrayal. When it comes to either keeping the borders open to invaders, or cowtowing to the homo-fascists’ jihad on Christians, I know I can always count on the our GOP leaders to come up behind us and stick us with a shiv.

As for these cretinous backstabbers like Deal, if I had the power, I’d happily hand each and every one of them to an ISIS headchopper.

For this reason, God delivered them to degrading passions as their females exchanged their natural sexual function for one that is unnatural.

In the same way, their males also abandoned their natural sexual function toward females and burned with lust toward one another. Males committed indecent acts with males, and received within themselves the appropriate penalty for their perversion.

Bull crap. Bakeries and photographers aren’t tax exempt, and the statists are crushing THEIR religious freedom too.

Besides, the founders didn’t enshrine religious freedom based on tax exemption.

Jan Brewer and Mike Pence did the same thing.

The Indiana debacle was worst AFTER Pence back pedaled like a moral coward. Instead of religious freedom protections, which were in implied place to begin with, the "new, improved" bill actually gave sodomites "rights" to impose their views on Christians.

Someone needs to find dirt on this traitor and ruin him ASAP (See Alabama’s Governor Bentley for brainstorming ideas).

Deal is the kind of weakling that causes Republicans to hate Republicans. He sides with perversion over honor. In Georgia, of all states. What a coward.

Untrue headline.

Legislature has already called for special session to override veto.

Agreed,.

People are fed up of these elected officials who don’t do what the voters want them to do when in power.

In thinking ahead to that, should clergymen resign as agents of the state when it comes to officiating marriages? I think we’re getting to the point where a couple will have to have 2 weddings, one for the state and one for the church.
