Republicans losing faith in election process, poll finds [Gallup]
Atlanta Journal Constitution ^ | 6:04 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016

Republican voters are becoming increasingly cynical about the way the election process works in America, a Gallup Poll released Friday indicates.

Of the 1,012 people surveyed from any party, only 30 percent said the process was working the way it should, down from 37 percent who said the same thing in January.

The difference was more stark for GOP voters. Gallup found 30 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought the process was working, down from 46 percent who believed in the system in January. …

To use an old expression;
“No shit Sherlock
What gave you, your first clue.”

The worst part is, the corruption is trickling down or has trickled down from Washington to State and county and city/town levels.
That corruption soils the entire process from the ballots to the people on the ballots to the counting of the ballots. Soon the incumbents will be getting 90+% of the vote. just as they do in places like North Korea.
Color me disillusioned, disheartened and disgusted.

The GOP has been the handmaiden, the silent-partner, and the faux-opposition to the Dems for years, helping to push their rancid agenda for decades now. As the GOP implodes, and is no longer a brace for the liberal-globalist-degenerate UniParty, is the inclination to believe tht the Dem Party is strengthened as sole, remaining power? My prediction is the opposite. The momentum of the falling dominoes is going to envelope them, too.

And then the fun really starts.

Supposedly the last time 65% of eligible US voters voted in national elections was back in 1908, less for state and local. It hasn’t broken that since, a lot of them being below 55%. At least by any thing that I have seen.

Supposedly the 10% of dumbest voters, the ones that vote, but vote one way and then another but can’t usually coherently explain why, are the ones that decide these elections. That’s what swing voters are, right? The people who the campaign money is meant to manipulate into voting or not voting at all based on political ads? Or vote based on how well attended a political really seems to be, or how well the media said a candidate did in a debate.

So yeah, it’s flawed.

My guess is that this is the first time the primaries have been more than an occasional diversion and there is a lot of ugliness that routinely goes on that is being exposed.

Exactly!
What a joke. Does anyone realize what has actually happened with this charade of an election. The race is such a lopsided win for Trump that it’s ludicrous to suggest otherwise.

Team Cruz has been highly efficient in inching out teeny weenie victories in the caucus states known for their odd habits and dismal voter turnout. He won the Virgin Islands by 30 votes; Wyoming by 480 votes; Alaska by 600 votes; and Maine by 2,500. Here are the rounded total votes Cruz won in his nine winning states.

Wyoming 620; Virgin Islands 200; Alaska 8,400; Maine 8,500; Kansas 35K; Iowa 52K; Utah 122K; and Okie 158K.
These eight states total to only 385,000 votes.
Plus Ted’s lackluster Texas win, Texas 1,239,393.
Cruz’s winning votes in nine states are 1,724,000.
Cruz won 9 states with 1,724,000 votes

Trump won 21 states, and nearly all the states were won by tens or hundreds of thousands of votes. The millions that have attended his rallies have voted.

Trump won 21 states with 6,020,000 votes

Cruz’s only way to prevail now is by chicanery and fraud, but then that’s just how he began.

This shows that those favoring Trump are being manipulated by the anti-Trump folks and being discouraged in the hopes that they will not turn out to vote for Trump.

Do not fall for the uncommitted delegate/brokered convention crap and get out there and vote for the person you really want.

Given Trump’s lead, I don’t see where the manipulation is or if it is effective. Looks to me like said lead is because of how the election process is viewed rather than in spite of it; the establishment GOP certainly pushed things in that direction by rubber-stamping Obama’s agenda at every turn.
