Trump glommed on to the term, once used as the name for an isolationist political party in the U.S. in the 1940s, after the Times' David Sanger suggested it. "We have been disrespected, mocked and ripped off for many, many years by people that were smarter, shrewder, tougher. We were the big bully, but we were not smartly led."

Drives me nuts when moon bats ask “what will the world think of us”. Globalism is Goliath and Trump is David. And Cruz is toast.
Basically, I like what he says. I am concerned that he might not be as steadfast as I would like.

"America First" can mean many things. To me it means that we follow the laws on the books for immigration; we make trade deals that bring in income and protect jobs of Americans; we require legal immigrants to use the English language; we recognize natural law; we use common sense and statistics in connection with so-called "profiling;" we re-establish our constitutional government; we rebuild our armed forces and get rid of the social experiments that have reduced our effectiveness by 60%. We put in jail those who would use our government agencies to punish people the regime does not like (IRS, BLM, EPA, etc.).
We reintroduce science, plain talk and common sense in government. There is more...
