Apparently the video (nicknamed “The Thing”) is Cruz having lunch with a specific woman and coming out of a hotel with her on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The media outlets wouldn’t ‘run with it’ thinking it was too thin.

Thank God it wasn’t a sex tape!

At this point it’s all innuendo and no proof.

What legitimate purpose would a politician have for repeatedly coming out of a *hotel* with a woman not his wife?

It's not like DC is short of ordinary office space. And I haven't heard that the Wi-Fi connectivity at hotels is anything out of the ordinary.
