So, what are the rules for the 2016 convention?
In future candidates should make sure of the rules before they get in the race and commit their time and money.
Republican establishment are scum. But we already knew this from how they treated Sarah Palin and how they have treated the tea party movement.
Why would anyone want to run under the R banner?
This party is finished.
There is simply no way two parties can represent everyone adequately. The two party system is what has to go. Maybe.
Rules?
Same s 2012, except for rules changed by the RNC. The RNC members ARE ELECTED, not appointed, ANY Republican can be involved in the process. Trump should have thought of this at the start. Some have already been elected, many others are yet to be elected. In Colorado, for example, they will be chosen at the State Convention, on April 9th. ---Yes it's too late too become a delegate to the State Convention, Trump should not have slept through this process. He is a political novice, hasn't studied the law or the rules or the history, it's his own fault for sleepwalking through the campaign, thinking it's merely about rallies and debates speechifying and TV. He spends too much of his life watching TV. TV isn't reality, Donald, no matter how many "reality TV" shows you watch. Wake up. Do the hard work. The rules have been posted on the internet for a very long time. It's getting late.
