TEXAS senator Ted Cruz is embroiled in a sex scandal befitting the bizarre nature of the current the Republican race for the presidential nomination.
An angry Cruz has accused “Donald Trump and his henchmen” of feeding the National Enquirer a salacious story claiming the conservative Christian politician has had extramarital affairs with five different women.
“This National Enquirer story is garbage. It is complete and utter lies,” Cruz snapped after a campaign stop in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on Friday.
“It is a tabloid smear, and it is a smear that has come from Donald Trump and his henchmen.”
The supermarket tabloid did not identify them by name, but published pixelated headshots of the women with black bars across their eyes.
The women were described as a hooker, a teacher, and co-workers.
Cruz also took to Facebook this morning to slam the allegations.
“These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack,” he posted.
“Donald Trump’s consistently disgraceful behaviour is beneath the office we are seeking and we are not going to follow.”
Despite his efforts the squash the story, the hashtag #CruzSexScandal has been the top trending hashtag on Twitter this morning, adding to the candidate’s woes.

The reason I ask all is that it would definitely impact my opinion of Trump...AND...I don't see this as a reaction to the recent "spat" between the two, as this story (or, non-story as the case may be)has been incubating for at least 10 days.
AND, Trump is not bashful about saying such things himself, live, on nationwide TV.
I'm thinkin' Cruz is deflecting by trying to make the story about Trump. But, I DON'T KNOW.
Well I have NEVER, ever seen or heard ANYTHING about Ted Cruz cheating with one woman, let alone FIVE! I’ve been on here for a long time, and for all that time, I haven’t seen anyone on “Free Republic” say anything about him having a “sex scandal”! Good grief, what’s happened to a lot of you?
Both men need to stop this useless war asap. Nobody gains from it but Hillary. I would like to vote for Trump, but he erodes his own credibility with wastes of time like this, or in that War on Megyn. This only makes him look unstable.

Kelly has been obsessed with Trump and if you ever click onto her show it has been slam Trump ALL the time.
Cruz has been sliming and throwing everything from phantom mob connections to Mistating anything Trump has said.
Cruz has the issues, not Trump.
Trump makes things and employs people which makes Trump better than 99.99% of politicians.

I find it interesting that Cruz immediately blamed Trump with no evidence whatsoever Trump or any of his “henchmen” were involved. Not like the nude photo of Melinea. The ad said “Vote for Cruz”.
I remember when the rumor started about Clinton in 1992. I couldn’t stand him and neither could a co-worker who told me apparently Clinton has a woman problem. I didn’t believe it so I called my brother in Arkansas and he said “Yep, it’s apparently true.”

Enquirer also broke the Blue Dress of Monica Lewinsky...birthing Free Republic and the Drudge Report.
It should not be dismissed just because it came from National Enquirer. And, it should not be given credence without some other sourcing/verification/validation.
While driving to work this morning women's names were cited or the radio. It shouldn't be too difficult for the media outlets to run those ladies down.
We'll know the truth by the Sunday talk shows this weekend.
Roger Stone is the only named source. The tabloid is owned by Trump’s good friend and the publication has endorsed Trump. I’m sure this is all a coincidence... S/
