Or beer. Drinking beer sparks all sorts of creativity.

Deputies say he used three pounds of Tannerite and only stood 25 yards away, while two teens recorded it on their cell phones. Hmm...explosives, metal parts with blades, yup. It was those dang cell phones.
To: Gamecock
I could see how he might’ve thought 25 yards was far enough away. But, there was shrapnel. Oops.

while two teens recorded it on their cell phones. Ah yes, the social media generation (Obunga voters).....so glad not to be a part of that or even own a phone that can video.

Here’s the legality of tannerite: Like gunpowder, which is actually FAR more reactive and dangerous, it is 100% legal to let it burn in an open-air explosion. It is 100% ILLEGAL to encase it with a confining object. At that point it becomes a bomb.
Think about gunpowder. Let it burn open-air? Yer cool. Put it in a sealed pipe? Pipe bomb.
This guy confined the tannerite. Illegal and dumb.

Thats one way to get a million hits on Youtube.
If you record asking a nasty woman why she parked in a handicap spot, you can get a million hits, and only a drycleaning bill from the coffee she threw at you.

Let it burn open-air? Yer cool. And it makes a really cool BOOM!!!!
