I have no idea how promiscuous she may have been in the past, but we have every reason to think that her marriage to Donald is no sham.
Maybe we should do an anti-Jesus meme criticizing Him for hanging out with Mary Magdalene. Then there was the woman taken in adultery; surely He should have stoned that slut. And what about the woman with five husbands? He actually did her the favor of explaining her situation to her. Without a doubt it was beneath Him to speak to such a wanton...
But that was Jesus. We are certainly under no obligation to give people the benefit of the doubt or give them to space to get right. Melania posed for racy photographs; she is, therefore, now and for all time a slut. Even if she has never been promiscuous, even if she is faithful to her husband, there is *no*redemption*for*her. That’s the standard we Christians apply, isn’t it?
That “dimitte nobis débita nostra, sicut et nos dimíttimus debitoribus nostris” stuff was just divine irony; He just wanted to see if we’d fall for it.
Melania should be allowed to change her life, and the former porn actress who was in a Cruz ad should be allowed to change her life.
But both sides want a double-standard. Because there’s very little integrity among the “Christians”. They all want their guy, no matter who has to be destroyed in the process.
