America to Establishment: Who the hell are you people ?
McClatchy DC ^ | March 24th, 2016 | By David Lightman

ST. LOUIS

The people who spend two bucks for chili at the Courtesy Diner at Laclede Station Road can’t fathom why anyone would pay Hillary Clinton $225,000 to make a speech.

Nor can they understand why the U.S. Senate is taking a 17-day break for Easter after spending much of their time last week fuming over the Supreme Court vacancy. Somehow, people all over America are saying loudly and clearly this election year, Washington and its enablers – the media, the political pros and Wall Street – don’t understand us.

That’s why, all over this slice of middle America, exasperated people got up before dawn on a cold, 37-degree morning recently to spend four hours in a line so long that from its end people couldn’t even see the Peabody Opera House, where they would hear Donald Trump. And it wasn’t just Trump. In the next two days, other folks nearby lined up to hear the outsider talk from Sens. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and Bernie Sanders, Ind.-Vt.

They share the same grievance. In 2016 America, the deepest divide is not between Democrats and Republicans. It’s not even between conservatives and liberals. It’s between Us and Them – the people versus The Establishment.

The lefty's at McClatchy are still doing some of the best informational reporting in the country.

And it's apparent why Trump is doing so well and why "the establishment" is, not fearful, but aggressively antagonistic.

They believe Trump (or Sanders) is going to take their cheese.

I thought that was David Limbaugh as the writer for a minute.

Donald Trump is tar & feathers lite. Let’s hope the establishment gets it before it gets real with pitchforks, torches, and guns.

David Limbaugh spends his time on Twitter defending the establishment.

Ground beef has gotten too expensive to make chili with. Now I use a little ground beef and use diced portabellas for the rest. It’s really quite good. It costs about half of a normal pot of chili.

Trust me, they know why.

"Oh... $2 chili exists..."

I make it home all the time.

But I've never seen it in a diner. Not even a cup as a side at 2 bucks.

I think Denny’s is under $2 for any of their soups, but like I said... you might not like the after shocks of $2 chili :)

The mainstream media reporters, some who make $10 million a year, also do not see what the fuss is about.

Yeah, the gop establishment politicos are too smart by half. They’ve done their common core math and concluded that if they put up a designated loser throw the election to hitlery, they’ll survive and go on to continue farting through silk.

They forgot something, though. The folks who support Donald Trump by and large don’t give even a fraction of a damn about the gop. If the gop screws Trump out of the nomination, they will be mightily pissed. They’ll have nothing to lose and quite a bit to gain by going scorched earth against the gop in the general election.

The gop would most likely be destroyed. And good riddance.

M’mmmm, that sounds good. Do you simmer the mushrooms in the sauce or cook them with beef?

Sounds good to me because I’m not much of a meat eater in the first place.

I saw a list yesterday, a long list of Hillary & Bill’s
quarter of a million dollar speeches that added up to
many millions of dollars. No proof of any “speech” being
given; so what was it? Bribe money? Future favor money?
Not normal.
