DONALD TRUMP OPEN TO NUCLEAR RETALIATION AFTER BRUSSELS ATTACK

Reena Flores CBS News March 24, 2016 Donald Trump is not ruling out the use of nuclear weapons in the U.S. fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), according to an interview with the GOP front-runner that aired on Bloomberg TV Wednesday.

Asked if he would consider nuclear retaliation after this week's terror attacks in Brussels, Trump responded: "Well, I'm never gonna rule anything out. And I wouldn't wanna say. Even if I felt -- it wasn't going -- I wouldn't wanna tell you that because, at a minimum, I want them to think maybe that we would use it."

"The fact is that we need unpredictability," Trump said of his openness to using nuclear weapons. "When you ask a question like that, it's a very - it is a very sad thing to have to answer it because the enemy is watching and I have a very good chance of winning. I frankly don't want the enemy to know how I'm thinking. But with that being said, I don't rule out anything."

When pressed on whether he would have utilized America's nuclear capabilities after September 11, Trump said that he would only have used it as a "last resort."

During his interview, Trump emphasized that terrorists "are winning" and "we don't do anything about it."

You're right. We need to completely understand why the Muslims hate our guts and learn to love them.

This ass is definitely going to lose the general election

Well, not with that defeatist attitude. If you want to win you need to have more confidence in yourself.

Why don’t you take a deep breath and read what he said again.

He said absolutely nothing except that it should be an option.

We have become a nation of ball less wimps.

You must be their spokes person.

“[...] There is more radioactive material in a nuclear power plant than in a bomb.”

Bingo.

A lot of the radioactive fallout is due to induced radiation of soil, debris, etc. and the short-lived daughter products of the primary explosion. These don’t hang around that long. We have come a long ways in our understanding of how to minimize the danger from fallout.

All those radioactive doomsday scenarios in movies are just that: Hollyweird fantasies.

“the mohammedums will use them against us as soon as they are able”

Yep. If we are not ready to beat them to it, we are wasting our time as a country.

I see nothing wrong with his comments.

Exactly. He said he would rule nothing out. The headline writer/questioner introduced nukes.

You love calling everyone a ‘neocon.’ (Even though you have no idea what the word means) Now you can call yourself a neocon!

----------

I don't call everyone a neocon and I know exactly what that word means since I have been following foreign policy all my life.

After each attack on the west just randomly pick a terrorist supporting country and nuke one of their cities at random. Random, just like a terrorist attack. Randomness is the key, the key to fear.

Ha! This is not about reading between the lines and using your Trumpisms and insults. Rest assured there will be a blunt and brutal 30-second ad and that will be devastating. How foolish can Trumpkins get? They twist themselves into a pretzel to defend their Dear Leader against the indefensible.

I find it sad that the lies and spins seem to speed up week after week. Here I thought the best and brightest gathered here, and yet, there are a few who have such deep disdain for a man putting his life on the line - I really do not understand it.

The best and brightest do in fact gather here. But every four years, when it's presidential silly season, the best and brightest tend to hunker down and wait for the storm to blow over. I learned that lesson in 2000 during my first presidential silly season here.
