Southern Baptists are now ‘snake handlers’? WOW! That must be news to Billy Graham and Robert Jeffress! Next time I’m at the Canadian SBC Seminary in Cochrane, just down the road, I’ll have to bring them up to speed.
There are PLENTY of things said and done by both Cruz AND Trump (and Kasich and Rubio), that are worthy of criticism without resorting to fake pictures and false accusations! This is the umpteenth time I’ve seen this, or similar photoshopped pictures, and I am fed up with all the ‘Bravo Sierra’ floating around FR now, on ALL sides, so you now get the benefit of my ‘venting my spleen’! Apologies. Get yourself a raincoat as I vent.
In my experience, most people who run for high office, suffer from a HEAVY dose of pride. Personally, I don’t think that there is much positive to choose from amongst ANY candidates on either side. Luckily, I am not in a position where I have to choose amongst ANY of these six _residential candidates, Pubbie and Dhimmi. Unfortunately, I am a citizen of a country whose ‘leader’ is but a ‘pale’ immitation of your current _resident, and we are stuck with him until October 2019.
By focusing on lies, ridicule, and photoshopped pictures, the reputation of FreeRepublic is besmirched, furthering the image presented by Lefties, that FR (and conservatives) are nothing but crackpots. Those who are middle of the road, seeking a REASONED alterative to the socialism/communism being spewed by the Dhimmicrat candidates, may be driven away from conservatism, back into the hands of the Dhimmis by such peurile attacks. If ‘we’ (conservatives) are no more principled than ‘them’ (lefties), what difference does it make as to WHO gets in? For some, they may think ‘better the devil you know, than the devil you don’t’, hold their nose and vote Dhimmi!
There is PLENTY to criticize, of all three remaining ‘Pubbie’ candidates (perhaps four, as Rubio has apparently only ‘suspended’ his campaign), let alone the socialists on the other side, without resorting to such attacks.
What I do know and take comfort in, is that God is in charge, even though this may be his ‘chastisement’ on us (Clinton/Sanders/Cruz/Kasich/Rubio/Trump//TRUDEAU) for straying from His Word. I’m actually surprised it didn’t come sooner, though seven years of Obama and some of the legislation enacted by Harper may be part of an early chastisement that keeps growing more severe!
