Megyn Kelly hit out at Donald Trump Thursday morning after he retweeted an unflattering picture of Ted Cruz's wife Heidi.
Kelly, who has been the victim of many a Trump attack herself, posted Trump's retweet on her own Twitter account and wrote; 'Seriously?'
The photo reweeted by Trump showed Heidi next to a very flattering image of Trump's model wife Melania and read; 'No need to "spill the beans." The images are worth a thousand words.'
He posted the photo just one day after threatening to 'spill the beans' on Heidi after a super PAC backing Cruz released an advert showing his wife Melania naked from a photo spread she did back in 2000 for the men's magazine GQ.

Heidi is now fair game because she stated that she and Ted were running for office together. Therefore, she’s a co-candidate. She also responded to Trump’s tweet with a disparaging remark. She made a choice to get in the ring.
He had everything to do with it. He’s a scumbag.
Mr. universe/bodybuilder etc. That is a business in LA. It is not your normal CORP.. Arnold came here before 1970 and he had his eye on Hollywood. He is no Warren Buffet or even a Trump. Saying Cruz is like Reagan does not make it so. Many forget the tax rates under Reagan. I recall when he finally got my top clients from 80% plus to 50%. Yes, we had TEFRA and DEFRA. Reagan and all the Cruz dreams will not help as we are almost 20 trillion in debt. It cost a fortune to provide health insurance to every foreign student plus all these illegals get bennies. Cruz will not round them up and deport them. I am sorry to see Americans fall for a Bush insider from way back.

Circa 2007 someone said to me the USA & its elections are about legitimizing selected individuals for government, through votes by the People; it is about democracy, but much more about “dollar-cracy”. I now have to agree, and Trump as rich as he is, is not immune.
As a rule, and most definitely, Politicians (Trump too) are deceptive, obviously.
The USA, and others in that general domain, have been led on a false path for a very long time - intense marketing - same messages are hammered in repeatedly.
The western media, especially in the U.S. is hellbent on a controlled and specific path to continuously shape public thought - it is worse than any communist or socialist regime was during the Cold War. Yet socially we have ‘freedoms’ that those communist/socialist regimes didn’t have.
The entire people-mindset has been so very convoluted over the past 15 years in particular, by the Politicians and their media - yet the media isn’t ‘state-owned’ per se — it is all about shares and profit (capitalism).

I have seen no disavow no condemnation...only attacks at trump and his wife by both Cruz and Heidi. I have been watching tv all nite...none Cruz could have said something immediately...He very carefully did not. I asked YOU for a link...you did not provide one...instead you attacked me.

Nice trashing of a classy woman.
1. Melania is not a “nude model” She was a high fashion model. Currently, not modeling much—she is a great wife and mom—actually spends time with her kids.
2. The photo spread thru Utah was 16 years old. Her photos were no less suggestive than Megan Kelly’s for Vanity Fair...bet you didn’t ever have a problem with Megan.
3. Photo is 16 years old. OK let’s talk about Heidi’s activities for Bush and at Goldman Sachs (partly responsible for the “Great Recession” in 2008) for the past 16 years...
4. She was covered...I see more sex on network tv. It was a dirty trick to appeal to Mormons who cover their shoulders.
5. You accuse her of “bashing” Cruz...Prove it...Got links...Oh you can’t because there are none. She rarely has said anything on the campaign trail—she does not say “we are running for President” like Heidi Cruz. Oh, and Melania does not ask for money like Heidi does either—I get daily emails from one Cruz or another for money. You know, Heidi who does not tithe and makes $750,000/year...
Oh, and if Cruz was half the man he claims, he would have disavowed the pac from resorting to such nasty tactics...You know—wife and family supposed to be off limits, Melania is not running for President, etc...Cruz could have and should have disvowed...but winning is too important to this man of integrity....Cruz is plenty big on disavowment...just when it does not involve him.

How about condemning Cruz for courting for money from gay hoteliers who have 23 year old boys die of drug overdosing in their bathrooms 2 months before Cruz meeting.
How about questioning Heidi about her ties to Goldman...the loans? Her activities as she just said “we are running for President” I just watched movie The Big Short, and Goldman was a major player in the destruction of the housing market.

I find it distressing so many here are willing to toss those basic Constitutional tenets out the window to support a particular candidate of questionable philosophy because he has catchy slogans (not that again!), but even more upsetting is the lengths to which those same people will go to demean Cruz. No distortion of events is too great, no twist of phrase is out of bounds, and the mentality is less thoughtful than a mob of British Soccer fans drunk as Lords.
There was a time when I thought it an anomaly that people were hanged by mistake, but it seems ingrained in the American Character to do so far more deeply than I had imagined.
This very website was once the place to find thoughtful and well-researched discourse.
