Megyn Kelly hit out at Donald Trump Thursday morning after he retweeted an unflattering picture of Ted Cruz's wife Heidi.
Kelly, who has been the victim of many a Trump attack herself, posted Trump's retweet on her own Twitter account and wrote; 'Seriously?'
The photo reweeted by Trump showed Heidi next to a very flattering image of Trump's model wife Melania and read; 'No need to "spill the beans." The images are worth a thousand words.'
He posted the photo just one day after threatening to 'spill the beans' on Heidi after a super PAC backing Cruz released an advert showing his wife Melania naked from a photo spread she did back in 2000 for the men's magazine GQ.

.... Whatever else is flamed out in this thread, as of yesterday, Cruz’s wife was on Fox bad-mouthing Trump as basically a liar, so to me, she is fair game.

If Trump had not responded to the Melania tweet, what would he have lost? If he ignored Megyn Kelly, just refused to go on her show, what would he lose? one does not need to scream at the top of ones lungs to be heard and to be effective. one does not need to act like a 12 yo on twitter to fight back effectively. I am sick to death of people just excusing every single thing he does, when much of it is indefensible. Trump supporters would have far more credibility if they acknowledged when he is acting like a jack@$$, rather than just lockstep applauding everything he does.

Cruz has ZERO chance at the nomination. He has worse odds if he
somehow came away with the nomination. His evangelist Schtick will go over like a kick in the balls in a general. I don’t know what’s so hard to

you are absolutely right. they simply cannot. they revert to what others have said/done to excuse ANYTHING he says or does. it is maddening.

Pretty much any Republican can beat Cankles except for Trump.
In 2012 we nominated Romney, the only Republican in sight who could not attack Obama on ObamaCare because he had promoted RomneyCare.
In 2016 we are threatening to nominate Trump, the only Republican who can’t attack Hillary with any credibility because of his past support for her and her Crime Family Foundation. How stupid can we be?

The Super PAC (Make America Awesome) is not even a Cruz PAC.
It is illegal for a candidate’s campaign to coordinate with the PACs.

However, Cruz’ people started this. Yeah, I know, it was a Super PAC, which allegedly has no contact with Cruz or his campaign...and if anyone actually believes that, I’ve got some prime beachfront property in the middle of Arizona to sell you.
I used to admire Cruz, even donating to his campaign last March when he declared. But now, especially after the last 4-6 weeks, I see that he’s a very dirty campaigner. Getting into bed with the Bushes, Romney, etc. isn’t helping (to say the least). I am thoroughly disappointed, thoroughly disillusioned - I thought that he was better than this. Then this stuff with Trump’s wife starts...COME ON!
Yeah, everyone needs to start acting like grown-ups. But Cruz is responsible for bringing things down to this level, involving families. Geez, even the murderous old bastards in the Mafia left families out of their disputes.
Oh, and Megyn Kelly - that woman needs to shut her pie hole. Like Cruz, I used to respect her...but no more. She is aiming to make herself the center of attention, rather than reporting on the news. Her bias is incredibly clear, and while that may endear her to some people, it is infuriating to see that from a reporter (and I’d be just as angry about it if she was backing Trump at anyone else’s expense). Megyn, STFU!!!
Bottom line: Trump’s wife was attacked first. No need to mention names when defending trump. We all know who the culprits running the pac ads support.... and it ain’t Kasich.
If you don’t stop the first punch you can be assured that a second one is coming. There is no other response then to fight your enemy on their terms not some made up PC theory.
I switched to OAN after Rupert gave Fox to his sons before the 1st debate.
