What an absolute crap article. The headline says he was arrested, but the article itself just says "He was later arrested." It doesn't say anything about why, what charges, when, how, etc. You know -- rudimentary journalism. The only possible inkling is later in the article when the guy indicates someone showed up at his door the next day and tried to throw a punch at him. Maybe it had something to do with that. Maybe it didn't. Who knows? Fish wrap indeed.

A man who tweeted about stopping a Muslim woman in the street yesterday, challenging her to "explain Brussels", and lambasted on Twitter for his comments, has responded to the criticism today, insisting he is not some 'far right merchant'. You will be. You are waking up.

What an absolute crap article. The headline says he was arrested, but the article itself just says "He was later arrested." It doesn't say anything about why, what charges, when, how, etc. You know -- rudimentary journalism. No need. In England it is illegal to say anything bad about Muslims, (or homosexuals) or to make them uncomfortable. They regard it as "Hate speech" and they arrest people over it all the time.
There is no "freedom of speech" in England. Just one of the more F***ed up things about that nation.

ARRESTED? obviously britain cares more about WORDS than DEATHS.
britain is where hordes of subhumans systematically abused young women, and the government did nothing.
I believe I will live to see the day when britain’s queen bows down towards mecca and the british flag loses its cross.

American government is more worried about it's gun clinging people than it's 2,000,000 Islam immigrants.
Same difference.

Once again, twitter demonstrates how using it can get you in trouble.
His tweet identified him as a person the Muslim woman could now file a complaint against.

A Metropolitan Police spokeman said: "A 46-year-old man was this evening arrested at his home in Croydon on suspicion of inciting racial hatred on social media. He has been taken to a south London police station and enquiries continue."
It often pays to, you know, read the whole article before commenting on it.

Racial hatred? Hatred of the Muslim “race”? Maybe they meant religious hatred.

Fifty years ago this idiot would have confronted some Russian peasant woman and demanded a defense of Stalin....
Or some German housewife as if SHE was Hitler’s muse...
It’s stupid and vile and laze. We have a problem with Islam because we’re NOT dealing with the cult in a rational, intelligent and effective way.
This man should look at his own leaders and ask why the hell they’re mixing cultures that are incompatible at this stage of understanding.

Its not illegal, what PC police are doing is mis-using a law. In this case, they have been rapped by the CPS and courts and are being rightly sued by the man.
There is freedom of speech, but police and govt are corrupting it by stupid nonsense like this.
Yeah, we get it, the UK sucks. America is perfect.
To: E. Pluribus Unum; All
The gentleman was arrested and charged, but the Crown Prosecution Service stopped this, and publicly rapped the police’s knuckles of illegally charging him.
The case and charge have been dropped and the man is now suing the Metropolitan Police for wrongful arrest.
