Pamela Geller: Cruz for police to patrol Muslim neighborhoods
PamelaGeller.Com ^ | March 23, 2016 | Pamela Geller

(FULL TITLE) Cruz: “In the wake of Brussels, we don’t need another lecture from President Obama about Islamophobia,” Cruz for police to patrol Muslim neighborhoods

Thank you, Mr. Cruz. Obama lecturing us, yet again, on islamofauxbia is like FDR lecturing America on naziophobia after attacks on various European cities.

Ted Cruz is calling for law enforcement to “patrol and secure” Muslim neighborhoods. Ted Cruz on Tuesday called for law enforcement to step up their policing of Muslim neighborhoods in the U.S. in the wake of terrorist attacks in Brussels, comparing it to police boosting their presence in areas with known gang activity. He should call for the surveillance of mosques as well.

Behind every islamic attack is an imam and a mosque. Mosques are good places to hide arms, ammunition, and those running away from the law.

Here is our AFDI 18-point platform in defense of freedom. Every GOP candidate should adopt it. We have been calling for these policy changes for years.

Cruz has been consistent on this issue. I am sorry that Robert Spencer is not on his foreign policy advisory board, but maybe he will finally get there. As for Trump tweeting this out, color me unconvinced.

Terror-tied groups like CAIR are waging their own jihad on Cruz for his rational approach to bloodthirsty devout savages:

“Today’s attacks in Brussels underscores this is a war. This is not a lone war. ISIS has declared jihad.” Yes. This shouldn’t even be controversial. It’s painfully obvious — as is Cruz’s call for an end to Obama’s suicidal migrant policies.

“Cruz: ‘We Don’t Need Another Lecture on Islamophobia,’” by Cortney O’Brien, Townhall, March 22, 2016 (thanks to Robert Spencer):

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke to the press in the nation’s capital Tuesday morning to address the horrific terror attacks in Brussels. He mourned with the victims’ families, then pinned the blame on failed leadership both at home and abroad.

“Today’s attacks in Brussels underscores this is a war,” Cruz said. “This is not a lone war. ISIS has declared jihad.”

“It is way past time we have a president who will acknowledge this evil and will call it by its name and use the full force and fury to defeat ISIS,” he continued. “Until they are defeated, these attacks will continue. Their target is each and every one of us.”

Cruz, one of five remaining presidential candidates, urged America needs a leader who is not afraid to speak about terrorism in bold terms.

“We need a president who sets aside political correctness,” Cruz insisted. “We don’t need another lecture about Islamophobia.”

More than a change in rhetoric, Cruz noted we need a more robust security process. The Brussels attacks, Cruz said, are “the fruit of a failed immigration policy in Europe.”

He called the president’s plan to allow thousands of Syrian refugees into the States woefully wrong. We need “serious vetting,” he said.

Asked to address his rival Donald Trump’s suggestion on Monday that the U.S. withdraw from NATO, Cruz appeared visibly disgusted.

“Trump is wrong” when he says that we withdraw from NATO and retreat from Europe, Cruz said. “Trump’s proposal to withdraw from NATO is sadly consistent with his statement he intends to be neutral with Israel.”…

Good one!

If Cruz is serious about keeping us safe, he would support the freaking muslim ban.

Excellent post. Thank you. Yes and, I’m only too familiar with Lynn Stewart.

The majority of tolerant civilized society does not,IMO, understand what islam is.

They are more sensitive to muslim hurt feelings…and we have a President who goes to baseball games, does the tango and plays dominoes while the American citizens who are the victims of yet another muslim terror attack, lie in foreign hospitals injured and possibly dead.

Exactly.

And they heard the POTUS tell us all, in the wake of 9/11, that it’s a religion of peace, which set us back at least 25 years in properly addressing the problem. Dubya did us no favors there.

It is a political ideology. The POTUS is the enemy of America. The college kids have been brainwashed into thinking this is a “religion of peace” and anyone who exposes the truth is labeled hateful.

Dubya did us no favors regarding this, it’s true. In Brussels, a teacher tweeted that his muslim students were cheering the attacks. The police there, so we are told, are so busy with anti-terror investigations, that they have little time to investigate murders, robberies, traffic violations, etc. Yet, they promptly dispatched vital personnel to visit this teacher and tell him to take down the tweet. Pamela Geller has the story and the original tweet on her site.

We have our work cut out for us.

I had heard something like that, but hadn’t seen the details. Here’s the link in case someone else comes across this thread.

Teacher Tweets that His MUSLIM STUDENTS CHEERED Brussels Attacks, POLICE Tell Him to Stop Tweeting

On the general subject, the Hungarian Prime Minister, Victor Orban, made an important speech on March 15 that addresses Islamic immigration/migration/invasion and the attempts to suppress free speech to discuss the issue.

Speech by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on 15 March
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3411401/posts?page=5#5

Key passage on this subject:

Europe is not free, because freedom begins with speaking the truth. In Europe today it is forbidden to speak the truth. A muzzle is a muzzle – even if it is made of silk. It is forbidden to say that today we are not witnessing the arrival of refugees, but a Europe being threatened by mass migration. It is forbidden to say that tens of millions are ready to set out in our direction. It is forbidden to say that immigration brings crime and terrorism to our countries. It is forbidden to say that the masses of people coming from different civilisations pose a threat to our way of life, our culture, our customs, and our Christian traditions. It is forbidden to say that, instead of integrating, those who arrived here earlier have built a world of their own, with their own laws and ideals, which is forcing apart the thousand-year-old structure of Europe. It is forbidden to say that this is not accidental and not a chain of unintentional consequences, but a planned, orchestrated campaign, a mass of people directed towards us. It is forbidden to say that in Brussels they are constructing schemes to transport foreigners here as quickly as possible and to settle them here among us. It is forbidden to say that the purpose of settling these people here is to redraw the religious and cultural map of Europe and to reconfigure its ethnic foundations, thereby eliminating nation states, which are the last obstacle to the international movement. It is forbidden to say that Brussels is stealthily devouring ever more slices of our national sovereignty, and that in Brussels today many are working on a plan for a United States of Europe, for which no one has ever given authorisation.

I had posted his speech just before the Brussels attacks, as I thought it quite powerful and interesting. It is even moreso in the wake of them. It is extraordinarily important that we have a head of state saying these things, and not just a few lone voices like Pamela Gellar, Geert Wilders, Robert Spencer, et al.

Sounds like loser Cruz is getting ntl/sec advice from the deranged
Glenn Beck. Cruz is playing w/ fire aligning himself w/ Beck.

HERE/S SOME INSIDE BASEBALL: Beck got thrown out of Fox after
Beck held an event on the mall and acted and talked like he was MLK.

Roger Ailes went ballistic. Ailes would not countenance anybody
working for Fox to undermine the towering legacy of MLK.

Thank you for the link.

“It is forbidden to say that this is not accidental and not a chain of unintentional consequences, but a planned, orchestrated campaign, a mass of people directed towards us.”

It is stealth jihad, and as soon as the numbers are sufficient, it will no longer be stealth.

We are starting to experience the same here. That is why, as you say, the voices of truth such as Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Frank Gaffney, et al, are vital during this turning point of civilization.

That has a ring of truth to it. So Ailes couldn’t stand ‘reverend Beck’ either. Aping Martin Luther King? Great thought for losing weight. No wonder people around Glenn Beck can fast.

I hated it when Beck got preachy. It rubbed me the wrong way every time. I’m vague on the actual scripture, but it’s a sin to belittle someone who spreads the Good Word. But I felt called to make an exception in Reverend Beck’s case long before this primary. It felt right to do so, something I don’t recall ever doing before [unless there is a singer who puts too much ego and self-promotion into a religious song].

Another time Beck admitted that he hated ‘Silent Night’ until he found a female singer to jazz it up. I suspected that she was a fluzy from a night club. She ‘sexed up’ the song. The classic tune is magical and should never be so tainted.

Come to find out, my guess was correct. She was a night club singer.

That was another reason why I wondered about Glenn Beck.
