National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd told a House Oversight and Government Reform Subcommittee Wednesday that cartels cut a hole in a 10-mile stretch of border that had been unmanned for two days and drove two vehicles through it.
Yesterday, I received an email from an agent in Arizona, and that email said that there was a 10-mile stretch for two days and this is documented on the reports from the Border Patrol management 10 mile stretch of border that was unmanned for two days, Judd said. Criminal cartels were able to go to the fence, cut a hole in the fence, drive two vehicles through that hole and escape.
Judd said he visited a station in the Del Rio Border Patrol sector two weeks ago. He was there for one day, but during the week of his visit, there was a total of 157 known entries into the U.S. through that stations area of responsibility.

That’s the design Trump proposed a few weeks ago. It ain’t rocket science, and it’s cheap and effective.
Did Obama give them automatic weapons before or after they crossed the border?
Ya know, the precast industry would love to have contracts
to make thousands of those, and the trucking industry
and contractors by the thousands.
And all that money would STAY in the United States going
to American workers.
That’s what I don’t get about the no drill policy,
the no pipeline policy. All those wages would STAY
in America. No, instead we buy from people who plan
our destruction.
Yup...no way possible a small stretch of 10 miles was unmanned for two days...
Someone "mis-managed" the patrol schedule...
True. Even the Berlin Wall was breached. Regardless, do you advocate doing nothing? If not what would you propose?
Yes, no one doubts that a wall alone is the total solution. It’s obvious to most of us that a wall is not a single-threaded solution. Enforcing current laws are another part of the solution.
When considering how to stop the invasion of aliens, think about an invasion of sugar ants in your kitchen. You can kill them, trap them, build barriers and anything else you want to do and they will still be back the next day. Regardless of what you do, they will keep coming until you identify and take away whatever is attracting them. Usually a clean kitchen will solve the problem.
A wall is a feel good solution but it will not stop the invasion. Until we identify and remove those things that are attracting them, they will continue to find a way in. Just as with the ant problem in your kitchen, you can’t solve the problem by keeping the good ones and getting rid of the bad ones. We will not stop the problem by condemning it while we continue to benefit from it. That is equally applicable to individuals, businesses, politicians and wannabe politicians.

For starters, how about not putting piles of sugar on the floor with signs that say "Free stuff! Come and get it!"
“We will not stop the problem by condemning it while we continue to benefit from it.”
Bingo. Like most of us here, I don’t use illegal drugs or hire illegal workers.
11 million Mexicans living illegally in America? It’s more like 30 million. We have the populations of several Scandinavian countries of our amigos to the south squatting in the USA. We’re close to a tipping point.
If we declare a complete moratorium on all new immigration, start a real campaign to deport illegals then give a completely refurbished Border Patrol command & control (no Bush or Obama `stars’ need apply) everything they need to keep them out, and build barriers where it can be done, begin (uh) comprehensive efforts to penalize employers who use illegals, legalize marijuana and do away with everyday little things like “Press one for Spanish,” that’s half the battle.
Mexico can squawk all they want. They have barriers between Guatemala and their immigration policies are closer to Nazi Germany than the accusations they fling at us. OK, I saved the Godwin violation for the last.
Yup. And to all the gutless wimps who say we can’t do this, they should understand that the Pentagon was built in 18 months in a swamp using antiquated machinery by today’s standards. Democrats have demoralized the average Joe who has never seen what this country can do.
Simply add motion sensors in every 5th wall and seismic transducers in the ground. Don’t forget the freefire drones flying overhead, operated by kids who think they are in a computer game to get the most kills.
Walls are one thing but political will to use such wall to limit access is another. If a wall exists but there is no enforcement of laws, or widespread entry is made legal, or poorly defined ‘good ones’ are granted reentry, then a wall loses it’s value.
What's Mexican for "KABOOM!"?
