The Rolling Stones will perform a groundbreaking concert in Havana, Cuba on Friday March 25, 2016. The free concert will take place at the Ciudad Deportiva de la Habana and will be the first open air concert in the country by a British Rock Band. Always exploring new horizons and true pioneers of rock, the Stones, who have toured every corner of the globe, will bring their high octane performance and incredible music catalogue to the Caribbean for the first time ever.

Free concert to no free people.
Audience will probably consist of soldiers ordered to “enjoy” capitalist music.
Shouldn’t they have renamed the band to the “Rolling Wheelchairs” by now?
Really?
They could have done this at anytime in the last 50 years. They (Stones) are ALL British citizens that have no compunction to honor the US embargo terms.
Wankers!
Hey, I'll trade you my "Checker" Taxi for a ticket to the Stones!
yeah ....... that is what people earning $24/month need......
“My Father, he ain’t no Che Guevara” from “Indian Girl”, the title character, as she pleads for assistance from “Mr.Gringo”.

This will be their 4th farewell tour, I went to the first 2.
Mick Jagger is widely reported to hold US citizenship.
A lot of 80s bands are touring again. The realization has set in that the 15-20 year olds of the 80s are now grown up, have $$ and long for the rock shows they remember from then. Cheap Trick, Styx......
While the Stones shows free status simplified some matters -- neither the band, which has grossed around $400 million in touring since 2012, nor AEG is taking a profit -- the issue remained of how to pay for it. The group will be bringing 61 sea containers and a 747 freighter full of gear, as well as a 350-strong crew. We have to bring in literally everything, says Concerts West co-president John Meglen.

Does he pay 90% in US taxes...like he is supposed to (Feel the Bern!)
Deals with Satan don’t go well.
It better be free, because no one can pay for it.
On a different note, you’d think that the U.S. has quarantined Cuba for 50 years, but the truth is that Cuba can trade with anyone they want, except for us. So all of the “massive impact” of trade restrictions talk is B.S.
In another ten years, I predict there will be a bunch of docu-dramas with themes like "The last road trip", "Sunset of a Star", "The Dead are dead," "A concert for the ages", etc. etc.
“What are they in their 90s??”
Yeah, but non of ‘em look a day over 85. lol

Let’s hope Keith doesn’t fall ill, the free medical program in Cuba is a killer.
Instead of saying “break a leg” for good luck before a show, do they say “break a hip” I wonder??
