March 21, 2016 DONALD TRUMP AND HILLARY CLINTON VIEWED UNFAVORABLY BY MAJORITY - CBS/NYT POLL By Anthony Salvanto, Fred Backus, Jennifer De Pinto, Sarah Dutton More than half of the states have held a primary or caucus, and registered voters nationwide now hold negative opinions of the political parties' current frontrunners. More than half of voters have unfavorable views of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump; each has a net negative rating in the double-digits.

Trump 57% Negative vs. Hillary 52%

Compared to frontrunners in previous presidential primary races, Trump and Clinton's unfavorable ratings (57 percent and 52 percent respectively) are the highest in CBS News/New York Times Polls going back to 1984, when CBS began asking this question.

Perhaps, not surprisingly, most Democrats have negative views of Trump and a majority of Republicans view Clinton unfavorably. But more than half of independents have unfavorable views of both candidates. Clinton is viewed more positively by members of her own party than Trump is by his. Six in 10 Democrats have a favorable opinion of Clinton; just about half of Republicans have a favorable opinion of Trump.

This explains why the Republican establishment is having a nervous breakdown. The Democratic nominee has a 52% disapproval rating and will have an indictment hanging over her, and Trump walked in and stole their show.

I love it !!

More nonsense. These “unfavorables “ as I have shown 50 times, are show biz unfavorables like Richard Petty, the Undertaker, or J. R. Ewing. They boo, then buy the action figure, wear the jacket, get the autograph.

There has never been a celebrity candidate like Trump before and they don’t know how to measure it. So they mistake “the Apprentice” for real political numbers.

Trump is literally putting his fortune, his namesake, his life, and his family lives on the line by running for President.

Does that sound like someone who is greedily lusting for power to you?”

It may not to you, but it does to me.

First, he has been “putting his fortune etc” in the line for 40 years to buy out politicians. Now, he has figured out that it is much cheaper to just be one. He has spent less than 10 million of his own fortune and gained a billion dollar in net worth. By the end it ends, he will be pushing a couple of hundred billions, may be even become the first trillionaire.

I am fully aware Trumpkins are the hear no evil, see now evil; speak no evil of their man. Trump’s devotees will brush aside the fact that Trump is an inveterate scam artist (Trump University); colossal failures (Taj Mahal; Trump Shuttle); imports foreign workers (waitresses and busboys) in the hundreds for his Mara-a-Lago Club; two of his three wives came here on H-2B visas, you know the kind of work that Americans don’t do. Shifted his stance on h-1B visas in less than 24 hours. Thinks Planned Parenthood does wonderful work; donates to LGBT, and would like to muzzle the press. What gives?

It's my view that this will be a low turnout low voter interest general election with a choice between two NY liberals.

Both Trump and Clinton have the support of less than half of their voters in their respective parties.

Open primary states show some enthusiasm for Trump but in the closed primary states not so much, Sanders wins the popular vote but Clinton has the delegates.

So come November Hillary will win the electoral college due to the Dims’s inherent advantage on the coasts but probably narrowly loses the popular vote.

Conservatives and the Nation will lose no matter who is elected...

Never held a private sector job, graduated from Harvard, constitutional scholar, lawyer, junior senator, foreign born, hides his real name, hid his nationality during his senate run, repeatedly failed to vote as senator, and immediately began seeking the office of president once elected.

At least Obama did not have an obsession with his father's underwear.

“And Ted Cruz just told O’Reilly that he is going to beat Trump in NY.”

Cruz is like a flea floating down river on his back with and erection yelling “raise the bridge, I’m coming through!”

If you follow the forum it is not hard to understand. Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, Phil Graham, Niel Bush and the list could go on and on. He has joined the establishment.

“I am fully aware Trumpkins are the hear no evil, see now evil; speak no evil of their man.”

Same can be said for you Cruzers! Cruz IS a politician who has a record. The problem is you folks refuse to see it for what it is. You accept him as a “conservative” despite some defintiely anti-conservative things he’s done. Just at least be honest, like you claim to be the case for Trump supporters, and acknowldge that his words and actions don’t matter to you.
