Cold comfort, now that the damage has been done. The election was effected because of it. But that’s how they work. Do the damage and move on. Wait for the courts to decide years down the road.

I made a small donation for a small house race in OR and a donation to Ted Cruz.
I was targeted by IRS in both cases.
The one to Ted Cruz caused someone in Austin, TX IRS office to edit my tax return file.

The list has been destroyed along with any and all other evidence. The folks at the top of the IRS should be charged with conspiracy among other things... But then most of us here know they never will be. The govts first job these days is to protect itself from any and all prosecutions.

I feel like the government is doing everything it possibly can to make this as complicated as it possibly can, to last as long as it possibly can, so that by the time there is a result, nobody is going to care except the plaintiffs.
