I have drawn up a resolution which is now being circulated which will forbid Colorado delegates to the national convention from voting for Donald Trump for president or vice president on any ballot

Who the hell is this guy to tell other people how to vote?

Oh, sorry, I said that wrong. Due to the word "forbid", he's not just telling people how to vote, he wants to force them to vote his way.

"because Trump has publically stated that his methods of operation include buying or renting the services of politicians for cash."

-BWAHAHAH. That means no one can run for President if they have donated to the Republican party.

“Would never have happened in the Colorado I grew up in. But the lefty governor would have never been elected either”

Um...Colorado elected Dick Lamm 75-87, and Romero in 87-99, two very extreme left wingers.

I have been a precinct captain for the GOP in Colorado. If this resolution passes, I will change my party affiliation and will no longer support the GOP locally. I may not support the GOP nationally if they pull shenanigans at the convention.

If Trump misses the 1237 mark, Cruz will be rejected as well, IMO.

The GOPe will forcibly put in someone “more electable” (their point of view, not mine). After all, if Cruz lost the primary race to Trump, then he wouldn’t be a good candidate for winning in the general, would he? (/GOPe)

I fully expect to see a Mitt Romney revival, Kasich, or even Jeb(!) pushed back to the forefront if nobody gets a majority of delegates.

So you’d take the person who has the most votes, and play legal games to appoint your chosen candidate? Those are the kind of games Democrats play. We’re supposed to be better than that, but it looks like the hardcore Cruz supporters are showing their colors more and more every day.

And here’s a news flash: Cruz won’t win on the first ballot, and he won’t win on the second ballot. If Trump doesn’t get 1237, the GOPe will install the candidate of their choice. Not Cruz. You’re delusional if you think the GOPe will allow a Cruz nomination.

So, how do these assclowns insert these polls showing that hildebeast of bernie beat him in the general? Has the msm done that good a job of pushing the false narratives against Trump? Fairly disgusted would be an understatement.

Concur. I have no love for the GOPe.

In fact, I despise the GOPe.

My disgust, however, does not translate into support of a fake like Trump.

He’s Romney with bombast who learned Nixon’s lesson of always attacking from the right.

I heard yesterday there were only going to be two changes to the rules.
1) Change to Roberts rules instead of House rules. No issues there.
2) Make the number of states you have to win majority 5 not 8. The point was either Trump or Cruz would be candidate.

I am not a Roberts Rules expert, but I think after rules are adopted takes 2/3 to change them. Based on this Colorado guy don't think 2/3 will be GOPe.

“What will Colorado do when President Trump BANS ALL FEDERAL FUNDS from going to Colorado???”

That’s just childish fantasy. If you knew anything about Colorado you’d know 1/3 of the State’s GDP is federal programs including some very serious and necessary military agencies.

1. Federal Center. Backup to DC itself.
2. CIA Domestic Operations.
3. Northern Command (NORTHCOM).
4. Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA)
5. Space Command (controls most of DoD spacecraft).
6. NORAD.
7. NSA/NRO facilities.
8. Federal Reserve Bank and gold depository.
9. US Mint.
10. Ft Carson (4th ID)

I could go on, but there is no way anyone would stop federal funds from Colorado.

So what about the votes of those Republicans who support Trump? Are they to be disenfranchised? Apparently.

Colorado is known for stealing votes from the people. They usually do it through the courts. In this case they just told the people that their vote is nullified. Is it against the law to steal votes or tamper with elections? Would Rico lawsuits come into play here?
