Just another innocent fraternity prank ...
“Police did not identify them.”
Wow. What more can one say on the state of journalism today?
pestle Pestle PESTLE !!!
“We are told that the suspects are students at the university, but George Mason Universitys Office of Strategic Communications has declined to identify the individuals.”
They found a mortar and a pedestal? What, were they launching their baggies from a raised platform?
a mortar and pedestal?.........................Most mortars come with a pedestal permanently attached......................
Were they building a bomb or a bong?
The “bomb” making materials seem pretty sketchy. It sounds like something a Boy Scout troop would do.
OMG!
Fortunately, the students did not arrange their experiment into the shape of a gun.
Mortimer and pedestal. Just wow.
These are your self-annointed betters. Do not mock them. They know everything and know how to run everything and they'll tell you so.
We alternate between railing and laughing but the reality is that a 25 year old ‘journalism’ major has never been taught to spell, has never been punished for spelling incorrectly, and is happy to leave it up to a computer spellcheck despite using the wrong word entirely.
What happens if you put hand sanitizer candles in a mortar and pedestal?
Isn’t a mortar the projectile-launching hat they wear at gradgitation?
Were their names Josh, Matthew and Bob? Doubt it.
Did they find any tennis balls with slits cut into them, by chance?
Isn’t it “pestel”? (I could be wrong, and you beat me to this comment).
Excelent question. Could go either way.
Kinda looks like a Yheb! guacamole bowl.
You don’t know. It COULD have been a pedestal with a mortar round sitting on it.
Then again, not explaining such is also bad journalism.
Never mind.
