Donald Trump Must Beware of Trojan Horse Convention Delegates (alert!)
breitbart ^ | 3-21 | Roger Stone

Posted on 03/20/2016 9:49:23 PM PDT by dennisw

Staffer from a large Northeastern state passed the entry codes for a conference call of five Republican chairmen from significant states this past Saturday. The topic on the table? Stopping Donald Trump. I had to listen in.

These hard-boiled pols know the nomination will be decided not on the first ballot, but in a series of procedural votes by the entire convention to adopt the rules of the convention as recommended by the Rules Committee and the seating of the delegates as recommended by the Credentials Committee. Those key committees are made up by two members from each state. The bosses have been quietly planting establishment regulars in these spots.

The party kingmakers may have the votes to knee-cap Trump in the rules and credentials committees, as they did Congressman Ron Paul in 2012.

The kingmakers have planned to steal the nod from Donald Trump.

Now they party insiders want to make sure they have a working majority on the floor for the passage of their “license to steal.” Republican state chairs are planting Trojan Horse delegates into slots won by Trump on the first ballot to vote with them on procedural votes to pass the Rules and Credentials Reports that will seal the “Big Steal.” This is going on in Texas, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan, Connecticut, North Dakota, and other states.

Though these “Trump” delegates will be bound by national and state rules to support Trump through the first ballot at the convention, they are free to vote against Trump’s interests on the adoption of Rules and the seating of delegates. It’s entirely plausible that a state could seat delegates pledged to support Donald Trump who have open affiliations with other candidates. In California, Cruz and Paulistas are signing up online via CA’s GOP website as Trump delegates.

This is a big problem and the ultimate last ditch strategy of the GOPe to stop Trump.

if there is a clear primary winner and the GOP-e’s (Obama enablers almost all) steal the nomination, they will elect Hillary (indeed, this will be the only way I think Hillary has any chance of becoming President).

hopefully, these Obama-enablers can be stopped from inflicting any such additional damage on America!

The last time Roger Stone tried to interfere with a GOP convention, he and his wife at the time, set up an organization dedicated to removing the pro-life plank in the RNC Platform (Republicans for Choice). I know, because I was a part of the organization that opposed his effort. We won and the pro-life plank stayed intact much to Roger Stone’s dismay. In fact, the Republican pro-life plank gets even stronger every four years.

The party would be over if they pulled that sort of bs.

Stone is a trickster. He sows seeds of doubt and paranoia. He has a tattoo of Nixon for a reason.

I’m not sure I take everything Roger Stone says at face value. If he really heard this secretly, why would he reveal it publicly? Why not just share the intel privately with the Trump campaign? What are the chances now that Stone will be able to listen to the next conference call if he really did listen in to this one?

They have chosen the instrument of their destruction, and it is Trump.

Trump doesn't have to win the nomination; he doesn't need to run third party.

He just has to start one.

And the GOPe laughs at you as they never even propose to cut a single penny from Planned Parenthood.

This is nothing new - I've been saying this since after SC - just because the delegates are pledged to vote for you on the first ballot doesn't mean they have to be your supporters, or that they are required to vote the way you want on anything else. That is why the Cruz campaign still has people working in all of the states that have already voted, to to try to make sure the people who are selected as delegates are people that support him, regardless of who they must vote for on the first ballot.

Stone is trying to make this out to be a big conspiracy, but politicians already know how this game is played and are ready for it. It is all within the rules. That can be the problem with having a true "outsider" - if he doesn't know how to play the game, he may get outmaneuvered.

Really, he doesn’t even need to do that. There’s space for a write in candidate.

We DO have the upper hand if we use it! Forget past rules of voting republican just to defeat a rat. Vote the RIGHT man in!

A typical Credentials Committee delegate.

The system is stacked in favor of the establishment - no doubt. Trump is like the one-punch knockout boxer. You know you’re not going to win if it goes to the judges scorecards so you really need that KO.

They think they can prevail. I think they're playing with fire, or worse.

“If he really heard this secretly, why would he reveal it publicly? “

There is nothing secret about this maneuver. It happens at the state convention when delegates to the national convention are voted on by the delegates. So, it will happen at your state convention if your state party officials set that in motion. It is entirely legal and sometimes is used.

But, they want to elect Hillary because she is one of them.

It can only hurt the common American. In short, if they elect Hillary they win anyhow.
