I don’t see AIDS - he’d have more skin discolorations. But something. He doesn’t look like he is long for this world.
I would agree with that.
He does have the weight loss, the gaunt eyes, he’s not fully coherent, and he’s listless.
Something has sapped him like AIDS, but I understand your point and don’t disagree. I just don’t know what else to mention that would account for these symptoms other than to reference AIDS.
One you do reference AIDS, people immediately know what you mean. That’s all.
