Both Kansas and Maine were caucus states. In other words they favor the political organizers and insiders of a state. Trump won, Florida, NC, Illinois, and Missouri. All primaries. This coming week Trump will win tha AZ primary and Cruz will win the Utah caucuses.
Exactly. In fact, there's a bi-partisan push on in Maine (that began after this latest caucus nonsense) to eliminate the caucus system and return to the primary system which existed prior to 2000.
