I get no pleasure from that.
California has the 8th largest economy in the world, despite it’s mismanagement. And it has been mismanaged. It also has three of the busiest sea ports in the nation.
If we wish to be a coast to coast nation that can support it’s Pacific operations was well as it’s Atantic, we can’t just cut lose California.
It sets an example that other states are vulnerable too.
Once one state leaves the nation, others will follow. That is a terrible thing to start happening.
I don’t not for a moment entertain moving toward the 13 colony nation we emerged from, not even by one state.
