Cruz is what is commonly called an adult child of alcoholics. Both his parents had alcohol problems, and Ted’s Dad abandoned him at a vulnerable age.

I wasn’t aware of the alcohol problems but was of his disfunctional family.
Both parents had previous marriages that didn’t last. Papa had a couple of daughters
one of which led an angry drug/alcohol life and died. His mom even had a child born out
of wedlock in England that died an infant crib death there.

The Cruz sister who presumably died of a prescription drug overdose—it was likely accidental, but suicide is always a possibility—is tragic. Seems tragic as well, or at least troubling, that Cruz’ parents divorced after becoming Christians. Of course, we have no idea why; it just seems a shame.
Addiction to alcohol really screws with people. Ted Cruz has had at least one drinking issue of his own. Let’s hope and pray all is well with him and his family throughout the stresses and strains of the campaign and beyond.

I am right there with you Mollypitcher1 on what you have said about Cruz....and I think Cruz is against our National Sovereignty also!
I initially lost respect for Cruz during the Iowa Caucus and I keep losing more and more respect for him.

I remember at one point Cruz was making the statement that when he is elected he will secure the border...AND THEN they will look at the millions of illegals here and have a discussion on what to do about that...That didn't set well with a lot of his supporters...
Ridiculous??? Every Washington supporter he has is against American sovereignty...All of his financial supporters are against American sovereignty...Every trade agreement out there which Cruz supports is against American sovereignty, and he supports them all...All of his CFR supporters are anti American sovereignty, including his wife...
Conservatives know that Cruz is lying his butt off when he claims that when he called legalization of illegals "common sense" that he didn't really mean it. However, the Cruz cult members will always believe he is against, even though they can't find any evidence for it until December when Cruz started claiming he always opposed legalization. For 9 months previous he was saying something very different.
That's a major disqualifier right there...

I agree. We need to keep the attention focused on his records until people demand they be unsealed. Americans were fooled by Obama. Shouldn’t happen a second time.
