Donald Trump has launched a late TV ad blitz in Utah that targets Ted Cruz just days before state Republicans caucus Tuesday.
The commercial recycles a now familiar Trump attack against the Texas senator, dubbing him "Lying Ted Cruz."
The spot casts Cruz as inconsistent on immigration, an issue that both Trump and the senator have made central to their campaigns. It spotlights an interview Cruz gave on Fox News in December, when he was shown past statements in which he appeared to back a pathway to citizenship for those living in the United States illegally. In the interview, Cruz struggles to answer why he opposes that same position now.
"Lying Ted Cruz: Just another all talk, no action politician," the ad says.
A Trump spokesperson didn't respond to several requests for comment. The spot was captured by a media buying source.

It’s refreshing, isn’t it?
Yes we must not speak ill of Cruz (peace be upon his name). Lol!
I kinda miss the Cruznadians who would invoke the ‘peace be upon his name’ utterance immediately following any mention of Trump’s name.
I may as well resurrect it for Cruz’s name.
If Cruz attacks Trump’s policies he’s an awful person. If Trump makes up lies and calls Ted names...he’s a winner.
Got it.
Primary is no place to measure the wimp factor. Romney was no wimp against the Republicans running against him, only against the Democrat.
That’s right. Everything that happens is because of Trump.
Cruz just whines. We all have teenagers. The last thing we want is a teenager for a president. The voters are making sure we don’t.
Projection. Sessions oversaw the writing of Trump’s immigration plan and approved the final product. Sessions did not approve touch and go amnesty any more than Trump did.
Here is Cruz in his own words/his own tweet. He didn’t poison pill his own Twitter followers; not even Cruz would take lying to that extreme [love the PC term “undocumented,” btw; wouldn’t dare call them illegals]:

We need to secure the border. Any bill this body passes should have border security first & then legalization. Not the other way around.
Cruz tried “Lawyer-Speak” and got caught. He is For amnesty and the Cheap Labor Express. He is against American Sovereignty as proven by his votes. Examine his actions, not his words.
Wow, comparing Cruz to a teenager? With that as the age standard I guess trum is a 3 tear old brat who doesn’t get his way. Name calling, threats, etc.
“Won’t work. Conservatives know Ted was always against.”
It seems the voters strongly disagree with your screeching.
Correction: Cruz called them “undocumented” in his Senate speech, not in his tweet.
Any bill this body passes should have border security first & then legalization.Sez it all right there.
Cruz is what is commonly called an adult child of alcoholics. Both his parents had alcohol problems, and Ted’s Dad abandoned him at a vulnerable age. The effect is like putting a little kid’s emotions/well-being through a psychological meat grinder. The effects are long lasting.
Indeed it does, and it’s unlikely even Cruz’ most loyal supporters will claim Cruz was deceiving his own Twitter followers.
I’m so glad to see you still standing for your ‘insider’ candidate that is funded by the Super Packs, GOPe, RINO base, Golden Sachs, special interests groups and CFR, TTP, TTA and H1B visas..and Paul Ryan, who Cruz worked with on the TTP bill, Romney the Loser from last time election, Crazy Glenn Beck, The Bush Crime Family that has close ties to the Clinton Crime Family, and all the other globalist neo-cons, Megan Mc Cain, Swan, and the Gays in New York and those “New York Values”, plus Linda Grahamsy...
American Sovereignty is the strength of the Constitution. It is supposed to be the Law of the Land. Cruz voted in favor of fast tracking Obama’s Trade and Iran agreement, effectively removing Senate ADVISE AND CONSENT POWERS. He did not stand by the demands of the Constitution, but weakened the Senate and transferred more power to Obama. He ENABLED Obama’s agenda and lies about it now. He also did not show up for the Audit the Fed vote which he had SAID he supported. He dodged the question about the wall for MONTHS, saying “we can talk about the wall later.” Lawyer-talk is Ted’s specialty. Unfortunately for him, some of us understand his double-speak and have nailed him for exactly what he is...a lifetime politician ho will and has soldout to the highest bidder. Why are his records sealed? Why does he think NOW that he is eligible to run for the presidency when he formerly said he wasn’t eligible?
You can swallow his evangelical speeches with all their “pregnant pauses”, but I don’t like being lectured to by someone who erroneously thinks he is smarter than me.
Too bad there are no meds for going wobbly.
