If by “took a chance” she means “crush anyone who questions you”, then the answer is that the world would be a considerably better, more civil, nurturing, tolerant place if Melissa Click and her ideological soulmates had never been. That isn’t the answer she’s looking for but it’s the truth.

The Post is totally remiss for not pointing out Melissa Click was caught on bodycam video throwing herself in front on the Homecoming parade and dropping f-bombs on a Columbia Police officer trying to herd her back to the sidewalk.
And she did all this in front of her own children.

I am all for taking a chance - with a bit of common sense in the mix. I do it a lot regarding some stocks/funds.
But I don’t think that is what she is trying to talk herself into. Probably it’s someone with AIDS.
