They’re delusional.

Let ‘em keep spending money - I thought conservatives were supposed to be frugal?

So-called Club For Growth intends flush more $$$$ down the toilet.

Now that’s an economic stimulus!

They want a unity ticket with Mittens or Ryan?

Oh Puhleeaze - I’m laughing so hard I’m bursting my guts at the sheer stupidity of it.

A winning ticket it ain’t. That’s how much TDS has gripped them.

“...and that would likely lead to an open convention, which is, in some ways, analogous to a run-off...”

Not even close. Run-offs rely on the will of the people. The Club for Growth plan denies the will of the people.

Is there any doubt anymore that Romney deliberately threw the election four years ago?

Romney came to OH and deja vu'ed his whole thing before this last set of primaries, campaigning against Republicans instead of supporting the frontrunner.

Oh yes, Club for Growth...they tried to shakedown Donald Trump for a million dollars, but he would have no part in it, so now they are really out to get him.

Nothing but a bunch of blackmailing bastards...

All these “patriot and tea-party sentiment” groups started out with one thing in common: “Here is a large source of pissed off, dissatisfied peoples whose money we can get our hands on.”

They do a few good things like give money to some conservative to take out a RINO and then they turn to the real problem - how they can get their hands on more money and vastly increase their ‘corporate’ salaries, bonuses, consulting fees and perks. They end up being just like the damned RINOs we are trying to get rid of.

"But the group did not discount including someone not in the race like Paul Ryan or Mitt Romney."

Well, maybe they should!

Let's play SAT word recognition:

Trump is to Mittens as Reagan is to:

A) George H.W. Bush
B) Bill Clinton
C) Hillary Clinton
D) Michael Dukakis

The Club for Growth and their puppet Senator, Pat Toomey, used to be conservative. However, their lust for power and their slavish devotion to cheap labor at the expense of American workers has shown that are part of the problem, not the solution.

Too bad they’ve turned into an enemy.

I thought the GOP job was to defeat Hillary

Their job is to fool enough people to keep their power. Hillary isn't their problem. She is one of them.

I'm watching their trained seals (the media) on all cable news channels selling the notion that 2 + 2 = 5, also known as the "Brokered Convention". Trump will likely get the 1237 number. No one else will come close.

Knowing the reality, this new GOPe strategy might be an attempt to damage Trump enough, not to keep him from the nomination, but to keep him from winning a general election.

Thinking they will create a Third Party ticket.

We are watching the death of a political party.

Why did the Whig Party die? Die a very inglorious death?
They refused to address the major problems of the day.
Infighting and simply offering compromises on the major issues of the day. Mainly slavery.

Why is the Republican Party dying?
See above. Substitute Borders for Slavery.

Non eligible, not Natural Born Citizens, Cubans, Chihuahua Prespiration Marko and Pinocchio Desperation Ted attacking Big Donald at CNN freestyle match.

Cruz "character":
1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.
2. Claiming Carson quit, presinc captains told voters "vote for Cruz"
3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video "vote for me" with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a 7 Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.
4. "Brilliant" lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.
5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.
6. Phony video about Rubio - Obama.
7. 7 Mountain Dominionist Church = Christian???
Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN
(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a "natural born citizen" is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.
http://www.thepostemail.com/2009/10/18/4-supreme-court-cases-define-natural-born-citizen/
Applies to Cruz and Rubio, both at the time not born to US citizens and on US soil.

My bad. I was thinking of helmet liners like we wore in Basic back in the dark ages. In that photo, Mikey was wearing a sophisticated Tanker’s helmet.....which is even MORE hillarious.

Yeah, at one point I thought that, too. But to hear a number of sitting senators and congresscritters say they’d vote for Hillary over Trump makes my blood BOIL. They want to continue their self-perpetuating gravy trains and the hell with the American people.
