The Bible waving turns off so many voters. I don’t think Ted could beat Hillary partly because of all this preacher stuff.

I think you’re right. It does turn people off. Not because they’re anti-Christian or anti-religious themselves, but I think people fear too much public influence from one set, will infringe on all others.

And when you start looking closely at the biggest donors behind Cruz, being some seriously fundamental believers, then where does that leave Cruz?

Does he believe what his biggest donors believe? Will they have influence with him in the WH? Will he cut deals with them, or for them, will he be swayed by them? We don’t know! But their backgrounds are enough to cause concern.
