I wonder why these are characterized as “hard” truths.
After you’ve seen literally dozens of examples of a consistent nature, meaning, all pointing to a similar conclusion, what is difficult about coming to the indicated conclusion?
I guess it’s hard to imagine that a traitor is in charge of our government.
I remember when Kennedy was assassinated and Lyndon Johnson became president. I was in England at the time. Europeans felt the same way about Johnson. Europeans have a tendency to look down their noses at Americans because we have bailed them out in two world wars. We had to do so because they long ago lost the will to defend the magnificent cultures their ancestors created. Saviors are crucified that is one moral of Christianity that is rarely remembered.
So what is Horowitz saying about Trump here? Lyndon Johnson? Faint praise indeed even if any was intended. And let's not forget that the Europeans absolutely worshiped the candidacy of BHO.
pfl... Horowitz is a very, very wise man.
At this time I am reading “Plato: Five Dialogues” (with Socrates), and reading Aristotle's “Nicomachean Ethics”. Plato, Socrates, and Aristotle, lived in the time period of 469-322 BC. Socrates taught Plato and Plato taught Aristotle.
All three men are like David Horowitz - thinking about mankind and striving toward the highest good mankind can achieve. Horowitz had to think himself out of the radical groups he was in and come to the realization he was harming mankind and he had to change.
I recommend “Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics”, Amazon, translation by Robert Bartlett and Susan Collins, $10.65 Prime, for an easy to read, glorious description of Highest Human Good, Moral Virtue, Courage, Moderation, Liberality, Greatness of Soul, Truthfulness, Gentleness, Ambition, etc, etc. You will be glad you read it and you won't be the same in a good way. It will help you get through the political angst going on today.
