Anti-Trump Groups Threaten ‘Largest Civil Disobedience Action of the Century’
Breitbart ^ | 03/16/16 | Aaron Klein

Posted on 03/16/2016 12:03:46 PM PDT by AngelesCrestHighway

With little fanfare and almost no news media attention, some of the same radical groups involved in shutting down Donald Trump’s Chicago rally last week are plotting a mass civil disobedience movement to begin next month. They intend to march across the East Coast in order to spark a “fire that transforms the political climate in America.” The operation, calling itself Democracy Spring, is threatening “drama in Washington” with the “largest civil disobedience action of the century.” The radicals believe this will result in the arrest of thousands of their own activists. “We will demand that Congress listen to the People and take immediate action to save our democracy. And we won’t leave until they do — or until they send thousands of us to jail,” the website for Democracy Spring declares, channeling rhetoric from the Occupy movement.

Cruz and Kasitch were not "with them" during the last protests, and they aren't going to be 'with them' this time. Enough slander.

Cruz and Kasitch were "with the thugs" to the degree that they failed to show any real solidarity with a GOP frontrunner who, along with his supporters, had just had their Right to Peaceable Assembly criminally infringed upon by an organized group of Leftist thugs.

Many of the people who criticized Ted Cruz were his own supporters. That's a fact. So they are guilty of slander too, I guess. Ted Cruz was blasted for showing naked opportunism, lack of proper emphasis, and failure to show leadership. He lost 300,000 Twitter followers literally overnight as a result of his yuuuuge mistake.

He and the other 2 stooges gave only "lip service" to rebuking the lawbreakers, and then proceeded to negate it by devoting several times as much time and space in their statements to taking political cheap shots at Donald Trump.

And that was a factor in why Ted Cruz didn't win a single state yesterday.

Eventually those same thugs might show up at a Ted Cruz rally. Whose fault will it be when that happens? Will it be Cruz's fault because of his violent rhetoric? Of course not.

The ironic thing is, if Ted Cruz really wanted to take advantage of the opportunity provided by the rally violence, he could have shown statesmanship by expressing solidarity with the frontrunner, combined with fiercely and emphatically repudiating the lawbreakers.

The opportunist missed a big opportunity, and perfectly misread the situation.

Anyone who doesn't think it cost Cruz yesterday is delusional, IMHO.

Cruz implied that Trump was responsible for what happened in Chicago. He blamed Trump and not the idiot rioters.

More bullshit. The first thing Cruz said was that 'The responsibility for the actions of the protesters lies with the protesters'.

THEN he commented on the atmosphere of the campaign.

Even if you want to distort that, it takes a real leap of distorted bullsh*t to say "Cruz sided with the protesters". He didn't.

I noticed you cut off the first statement. Nice editing to twist what he said. Otherwise, if English was your first language and you had any proficiency in it, you wouldn't be able to come up with nonsense.

When thousands and thousands show up at a Trump rally, there will always be some lunatics present. Hillary is not drawing thousands and thousands. Hillary is still drawing lots of lunatics at her rallies. Bernatics are causing problems at peaceful rallies.

Anyone who doesn't think it cost Cruz yesterday is delusional, IMHO.

What cost Cruz was that he didn't come out of the gate with a "Kill the mother****ers!" donald trump attitude which would have alienated his own supporters, and been splattered against him by the same media who distorted what he did say.

What he did say wasn't aggressive enough for you howlers, so you twisted it to say it was somehow support for the actions Cruz decried in more gentle terms, and splattered the distortions all over the media.

Nice job, Mr. Alinsky, your dedicant would be proud.

In other words, nothing Cruz did or said would not have been used against him.

These LIBERAL tactics piss me off. They are transparent, and if used against the guy you support would be decried from the rooftops, but against someone else, they are just fine with you.

Which exposes the desire by Trump people to embrace situational ethics.

You are unprincipled, you just want to "win" regardless of whether or not that involves screwing any people over. You are the type who would try to eminent domain an old lady's house to put in the parking lot YOU want.

There is the real ROT.

You are no better than the GOPe you decry, you are just on the outside wanting in.

You all have exposed yourselves, and typically, it ain't pretty.

Where are the Occupy Groups, camping out and living like homeless people? Those are the types we should be seeing soon. They use the streets as their public bathrooms!

Lots of people are tired of MSM...that is why there is a Trump. Lots of people are tired of a Republican Party who does not represent Republican voters...that is why Trump is here now.

Deal with fact. The only nonsense is coming from you.

Blaming Trump isn’t more acceptable if you put a qualifier out there first unless you are fine with Kerry being for something before he was against it as well.

I gave to Ted’s campaign early on. He has disappointed me and told me I was “stupid” too many times to give him the benefit of the doubt any more.

The simple fact is I don’t trust Ted Cruz anymore. If I don’t trust someone I really don’t care what they say because their words are meaningless.

Obviously many other people that used to trust him don’t anymore either because he is losing badly when he looked so promising early on.

You are welcomed to your opinion and your candidate. If you have to cuss and demonize me because I disagree with you here it is only because you are too mentally deficient to be civil.

It's the old addage - people will forget what you say but they'll never forget the way you made them feel.

Trump makes me feel proud to be an American again.

I thought you trump supporters liked that stuff.

Oh, not when it is aimed toward you.

Thanks for proving my point. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. Same place Cruz was.

Your just talking in non-descript circles.

Ted said he was a man of principle and silly ol’ me I believed him. I’m sure that’s my fault too and not his.

Have a nice evening!

What he did say wasn't aggressive enough for you howlers,

A lot of Cruz supporters, then, were howlers as well.

You keep trying to act like it was only Trump supporters that blasted Ted Cruz for his weak statement, but that is false.

Ted Cruz got pilloried by his own supporters, in many cases. Dozens of them on this very forum switched to Donald Trump as a result, and that pattern was replicated elsewhere.

These were voters who did nothing more than read and hear Ted Cruz's statement for themselves, and formed their own opinion accordingly.

So, to reiterate, the "howlers" you decry, those who "twisted" Ted Cruz's words, included many of his own (former) supporters.

Cruz's wounds were self-inflicted, not caused by "howlers" and their ilk...

How dare you try to respond with facts are reason.

This is the same type of behavior that caused me to switch from Cruz several months ago.

Trump is not perfect nor close to it in any way, but I trust him to do what he is saying and I trust a competitive businessman to be the best option we have to get trade straightened out and the economy operating better by getting the government out of the way.

Cruz's wounds were self-inflicted, not caused by "howlers" and their ilk...

Horse manure.

I saw headlines which took a partial quote (3 or 4 words) of Cruz and cobbled it together with nonsense to make the headline.

The whole "Cruz supports protesters" LIE got legs, and like lies do, was all over the media before the truth could get off the stoop.

That hurt, the perception created by media distortion and read by people who only read the half quotes and twisted screed of the chattering class which gave them the impression that the overwhelming preponderance of media accounts were correct.

They were not, they remain a distortion.

But that was brayed over and over on this forum, even, where people used to critically analyze the statements of the press.

If Dan Rather had produced 'fake but accurate' memos about Cruz instead of 'W' he'd still have a job today, because the analysis here would have been drowned out by Trump supporters.

Oh nose!

Isn't this the exact reason the GOP gave us for letting an illegal alien ID thief stay in the WH?

Times gonna come, sooner or later.
