Relatives of a 17-year-old are angry the teenager was shot and killed by a homeowner who police say was protecting her property.
The sister of the teen who died identified him as Trevon Johnson. She said he was a student at D.A. Dorsey Technical College.
I dont care if she have her gun license or any of that. That is way beyond the law
way beyond, said Johnsons cousin Nautika Harris. He was not supposed to die like this. He had a future ahead of him. Trevon had goals
he was a funny guy, very big on education, loved learning.
On Thursday, police say Johnson burglarized a home south of 79th Street near I-95 just blocks away from where he lives.

Guess he was just working his way through his tech school by burglarizing his neighbors.
Kind of scary if he would have actually got a tech degree. All we need are more criminals working with sensitive information

People who don’t respect others get what they deserve. From the family’s comments, its obvious he was brought up wrong.

You have to understand
how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.
To: Olog-hai
He had goals, and he had to burglarize someone to attain them.

If the homeowner was “white” we’ll be hearing a lot about this in the media.

Men...a 17yr-old is not a “kid”...trespassing and stealing within another person’s home do not have goals, they have habits and addictions, be it sex, drugs, and/or money...to feed.
Whether he deserved it or not is for Him to say, all we can o is protect what is ours. The homeowner was in the right here.

Here you have it the Hood Mentality. You have to look at it from every childs point of view that was raised in the hood, said Harris. You have to understand
how he gonna get his money to have clothes to go to school? You have to look at it from his point-of-view.
But as one commenter said,His relatives should be happy as he died doing something he loved!! LOL

He had goals, and dodging bullets wasn’t one of them.
