We have seen time and time again Ted Cruz throw the Constitution under the bus if he think he can personally gain from doing so. Cruz is not a constitutional conservative. On the NBC issue, TPP, Corker, Patriot Act and now siding with anti-first amendment thugs in Chicago. I am amazed he’s still got a lot of conservative support. I would think bringing the Bush family, the very definition of the establishment, into his campaign would be a deal breaker.


Exactly. Cruz is a calculating and climbing careerist. Here’s an interesting article about career risk averse Cruz refusing to get involved in a very important Supreme Court case that the sodomites ended up winning:

Yes I’ve read that. Cruz had the opportunity to argue the most important “gay” rights case ever and he took a pass. Losing that case is why we have same sex marriage today.
