You can't lend validity to a vacuous statement by adding useless hypothetical general election polls as "evidence". If you can't see that Trump has tremendous traction among independents and blue-collar democrats, and that Cruz has none, then, yes, you are both wrong and willfully blind.

Well, no. If following the polling results from this year has shown anything, it's that polls are notoriously unreliable. The methodology. Those polls of potential match ups are worse than useless.

There’s no need to rely on fairy tale match up polls when we have plenty of real elections to analyze. Cruz is not competitive in battleground states. Period. If he can’t win GOP primaries or even come close he’s not beating a Dem in those states. Sorry.
