Sanders slaughtered, Hillary sweeps, Trump dominates, Kaisch wins one
Hillary just won the nomination.
I say, it was the foul mouth, **** the police, ugly and aggressive and at times violent and bully behavior of Bernie supporters in Chicago that totally turned off America and damaged Sanders campaign.
Hillary swept the field even if Sanders nips a win in Missouri, Sanders momentum was gone in a flash after Chicago. His own supporters threw Sanders nomination away. At this junction, like Rubio, he should just suspend his campaign, pull up his suspenders and get on a bus and drive back to Vermont.
Congratulations to Kasich, what this means is Cruz is not going to get the nomination, and in a brokered convention it would probably make sense that the Republican establishment would rally around Kasich, who will continue on and will rack up some more delegates. Like Trump, he focuses on jobs and the American worker.
I only deal in reality when it comes to the analysis, not bias.
And the reality is Trump won such tremendous victories tonight, there is no question about it, Trump is the choice of the Republican base. Thats the facts on the ground. Rubio announced he is suspending his campaign just after a huge loss in his home state of Florida.
Some say it is now a Trump verse Cruz campaign. I do not think the facts on the ground in the remaining states necessarily means that at all. I see a growing Trump verse Kasich campaign. The fading of Cruz has begun. Kasich gave a great victory speech after winning Ohio, he may recover from his mistakes since he is pushing the right buttons.
North Carolina went to Trump. Trump literally owns Florida, his victory was so huge. As an important as Florida, Trump won Illinois by more than 10 points which has unemployment issues and in Illinois may not be a winner take all on delegates as in Florida where Trump won them all, but Illinois is a winner takes mostwith 69 delegates in fact he may get 60 delegates, now add 99 from Florida, and most of 72 in North Carolina let me just say, it may not even matter if Kasich won Ohio, he may now make up and win enough delegates out of Illinois and N.C. that he may have as much won Ohio and lost N.C. to Cruz. But Cruz didnt win N.C.. Cruz was supposed to win Missouri but as of right now he is losing.
I suppose I should wait until Missouri comes in, but at this point it doesnt matter. Trump dominated everything, and even in Ohio he did well. Right now, Sanders is winning by only one point in Missouri. Eeee Bernie lost. In the end Kasich will not beat Trump, he will just further sink Cruz’s chances, however.
You are living in an imaginary world. The real Kasich just vowed to grant amnesty in the first 100 days of his notional Administration. That does not qualify as focusing on jobs and the American worker, and is the polar opposite of Trump.
Kasich's solitary, hometown victory stems from a) Ohio Democrats who crossed over from fear of Trump, and b) Rubio handing over most of his own votes. It won't mean a thing in two weeks. The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on.
