Sarah Palins husband was injured in a serious snowmobile crash and hospitalized in intensive care but she still appeared at a Donald Trump rally in Florida on Monday.
Palin was forced to cancel a morning campaign event in The Villages, Florida after Todd Palins accident in Alaska, she said.
Yep ... we were in the UP of michigan at kincheloe AFB in early 70’s an they were pretty much a basic form of transportation in winter.
Oh for Petes sake. Can we let this go? It was not funny the first time. America is a big country and things are not all the same. In Alaska they say snow machine.
Growing up in NH in the 70s, the term used to be snowmobile.
Take the french bread sandwich for instance. In New England, they call it a submarine sandwich and the Boston area is surrounded by “sub shops”. (Hence the “Subway” sandwich chain). In other places around the country, these same sandwiches are called “grinders” or “heros” or “hoagies”.
Sled. Thats what Ive called them.
I heard it for the first time last night on the TV show “Living Alaska.”
Poor man. I cracked one rib not quite a year ago and the pain was intense. I can’t imagine how much agony he is in.
