“As a Constitutional Scholar he doesnt know Trump has the right to rent a hall, invite who he wants, and eject those he doesnt want there? He doesnt know that if someone throws a punch or an abject at the candidate, they have taken action that others are justified to put down?”
Really. I think the truth is that he used to be a Constitutional scholar, but he sold out for power and now the “scholar” has become the “whore”.
Well, he became something very close to that as far as I am concerned.
Mayflower Madam, you’re smarter than that.
Cruz tends to fall back on his MO as a debater.
He directs his attack at his opponent during the Primaries which unfortunately happen to be other conservative, in order to try and win the Primaries/Caucuses.
IMHO, the game should be played differently, but I’m not the candidate running.
He hasn’t become a “whore”, but he is using tactics which are his strong suit in attacking his opponents on each issue presented to him. They aren’t always consistent, but through them an observer can discern his political basis, method of problem solving, and Presidential traits.
I happened to favor him initially.
Later I favored Trump.
Today I don’t really care for either one, but my opinions are being too influenced by adversarial debates, rather than gleaning the positions of the candidates.
I’d much rather hear a proactive advancement of political ideas of one candidate or another, than another slap shot against fellow conservatives.
