No, it's just what they are called in Alaska and parts of Canada. That's all. Like Coke, soda, pop etc. I have heard Sarah refer to them as machines many times going way back. Todd has been a participant in that big "snowmachine" race up there for many years winning it a few I believe. Can't recall the name of the race but it's not that one with the dogs I know. :-)
